I was going to do a ki-rin for mom’s day too (and her bday since it was two days ago)… but I didn’t, since she sees all the process of the PYOs being painted x3 Wouldn’t be a surprise.
Love the color of the mane!In terms of 2D art, I’d say I had some very very minor experience in painting (I am a marker artist, and I don’t like painting to be honest), despite owning every type of paint you could possibly imagine @__@
I’m on my third PYO currently, so when I did my first one that was really my first experience in painting GOOD 3D sculptures (aka, something not sculpted by me in a lame required high school art class 😆 )Hurray for Vampires! XD
Looks great! I really like how those scales look. Though I would have gone with red eyes personally.Only starting at $1? But I know it’ll be out of my price range by the time it finishes auction 😡

Yeah, I only have three (fire not pictured… on the shelf the left) and that one bell…
