OOHHH! oh wow! I wrap stones in silver wire too, but it never crossed my mind to try it with opals!I was too scared of scratching them….but I will be getting a lot of opals that are not drilled and will need some form of setting..so I might have to try it. you seem to use a heavy gage of wire, do you ever scratch one?
Those are so pretty. I have seen stones wrapped like this in the flea market and bass derby but yours definately have a certian style to them. The same quality of wrapping i find in my Jewlwery book.Where do you get you opals from? if you do not mind my asking of course.

OH yeah! I drew a picture of that species! I was so extatic when it was found, although I am on pins and needles for the rest of the skeleton to be discovered and not just the skull.

for extinct ones, there is Sharovipteryx,micro raptor, and a few others.that thing sure is cute though, I want oonnnne!
lately I have been dreaming about my PYO dragon. right now I am patiently waiting for some payments to come one..because when they do I will finaly be able to get my first PYO! in the mean time while I am waiting, I have been getting dreams of the ups guy coming to the door with a box and in the box is a bright white PYO dragon. I am sooo excited, and I jump on the forum to plague every one with questions about paints. lol.
