I saw that listing too and also thought it was a Windstone auction before I saw that is a different seller. Are they allowed to relist something using the same Windstone description and pictures?

I would message the seller and describe the damage and say you can e-mail pictures if they want to see the damage. I would point out the chip done in shipping but also mention it appears the other chips were there before shipping and ask if they can refund maybe half what you paid or what you think is fair if you want to keep it and fix it. You can message Kyrin or Drag0nfeathers on here to get quotes of what it would cost to fix but you would have to pay them plus shipping to them and back to get it fixed which can add up so you would have to find out how much that would cost before asking for that amount for a refund. Otherwise you could ask the seller if they will give you a full refund plus your return shipping if you send it back. When you get a full refund it does include your initial shipping cost but technically they do not have to give you the amount for return shipping unless they are good to deal with and choose to. It doesn’t hurt to ask them though if they will do that and just return it and get another one from someone else. Give them a day or two to respond back and if they don’t message you back or won’t cooporate, you would have to open a claim on ebay to get a refund.

I have read posts from others who have had the same experience as you which is unfortunate. Did you ask the seller to double box your piece? Does it look like it chipped in shipping or does it look like the piece was already damaged before shipping? Was it double boxed? Do you have postal insurance on it? One option is to ask the seller for a partial refund to cover repairs and keep the item and repair it or send it to be repaired. You would have to get quotes on what this would cost and let them know and if they have insurance and it was broken in shipping they can file a claim with the postal company and refund you or if it was their fault they would have to refund you from their own money. Otherwise you could ask for a full refund but usually you would have to pay to ship it back which is annoying.
If the seller doesn’t cooperate, you can file a claim on ebay asking for a partial or full refund and they will have respond to your claim to come to a solution. My best advice is ask questions before you bid on anything. Get it in writing if the item has any damage or not. Even if a listing says it’s mint, it’s good to ask anyway before bidding if it has any chips or damage they didn’t notice at first. Also ask them if they are familiar with double boxing and ask them to please double box your item to prevent it getting broken in the mail. I like to ask sellers to bubble wrap the item well and then find a box just big enough for it to fit in and then find another box a little bigger for it to fit in surrounded by packing peanuts. If they have a response indicating they don’t know how or won’t do this, I avoid bidding on or buying the item unless they agree to shipping them double boxed.

I didn’t know you could peel back the felt but now I realize they are sticky. haha. So far I only removed the one but if I ever do more I will let people know and hopefully others will be willing to send their tags off.

I cut a tag off a baby Kirin of mine yesterday as the tag was bigger than the Kirin! Question though, instead of cutting them, how do you get the strings out without wrecking the felt? Can you just pull them out?

I was looking up King Cheetahs and mine definitely looks like it is one because they have stripes down their back and different shapes of spots and the black lines on their face like tear lines. Servals also have stripes on the backs on their necks but this to me looks like a King Cheetah now that I have seen pictures of them! Thanks to those of you who pointed that out.
From what I read, the King Cheetah is a very rare and endangered mutation of the Cheetah, once thought to be a subspecies. Only 6 have been seen in the wild and they estimate there are only 30 in the world! What beautiful wild cats they are!

A couple of my favourite candycorns still haven’t shown up yet! I got mine today and it is a safari. I was a little disappointed as I desperately want a candycorn! It is a beautiful safari though and if I liked safaris I would like this one. I looked it up and it looks like a King Cheetah as they have stripes on their backs. That’s cool as I never knew there was such a thing as a king cheetah. Its name is Hopps!
