I did it and I feel liberated!

I did it, I yanked out the tags! I have old windstones without tags and new windstones without tags, and a handful in the middle with tags. They have always bugged me, so today I did it and it feels great! Thank you windstones for liberating us from nasty hang tags!

I cut a tag off a baby Kirin of mine yesterday as the tag was bigger than the Kirin! Question though, instead of cutting them, how do you get the strings out without wrecking the felt? Can you just pull them out?

Hahaha, that’s funny Dragon! Kimk, I just slowly worked the strings out one at a time. With the strings gone, the piece will sit flat.

LOL! I wonder how OCD I really am? Do I really want people to send me their tags so I can peel back felt pads and add tags myself?

I will take any hang tags you guys do not send to DF please? :bigsmile: I have gotten quite a few Windstones from ebay and such and many have had the tags removed.I would like to have them on the ones that should have them on mine. 🙂

If they don’t come out with a yank, you can gently peel off one side of the felt, remove the strings and flatten it back up.

I didn’t know you could peel back the felt but now I realize they are sticky. haha. So far I only removed the one but if I ever do more I will let people know and hopefully others will be willing to send their tags off.
