I sent her two pieces as commission work in May. I’ve heard nothing from her other than a few forwards since August and not even those in the last month or more. I know she was having some medical problems but last I heard they were mostly under control 😕 At this point I’d be happy just to get my pieces back. 😥
I’d also like to know if she is OK. If anyone knows her or how to reach her other than email or this forum I’d really appreciate the help

Like everybody else we cleaned up. Than played Monopoly, ate too much dessert
😆 cleaned some more, than got a nice fire going in our newly installed wood stove and rested.

I keep telling my husband next time he leaves an a business trip I’m sneaking in some Gecko’s or Bearded lizards. I’d also like to get a mini horse and house break it. 😆
We’re getting our fence up this week end and than I am nagging Santa for an Akita for Christmas 8)

At least the way you feel is out in the open now with your mother. She probably read there what you needed to say to her face, just not as tactfully maybe as you would have put it.:)

I had a myspace originally because my kids all had one. One in college and one married plus the two in HS.
It was a good way to keep in touch with them and their friends. Also I have several nieces and nephews out of state and it’s a great way to keep up with them.
It’s like any other tool though ~ what you get depends on how you use it. I’ve made a few good friends of common interest on there but we still communicate primarily via email 😛

I have an old candy making cookbook and Betty Crocker
(50 yrs)cook book of my Mom’s Both recommend using popped but unseasoned popcorn as packing material when shipping cookies etc to the troops. That way the fragile items are well protected and the person receiving gets twice the treats 😆 I make different colored caramel corn place it in ziploc bags and pack with it every year for Christmas Yum 😉
