All I can say is I think the move to Corvallis is wonderful cause it puts Windstone loads closer to me, meaning I can actually go on a tour now and see EVERYTHING!!! Not that I’m excited about it or anything like that. I can’t wait!
I’ll check out craigslist
February 25, 2008 at 12:49 am in reply to: A crazy idea, a new way for windstone to use these forums #667941Another alternative to ebay is craaigslist. A loot of people are alread aware of it as a flea market type settingg. The drawback is having to go to each different city to find stuff. They need a universal search for fanatics like us. What do you think?
I know it’s probably in here somewhere, but I can’t seem to find t. Can anyone tell me the date Windstone is actually moving to Corvalis, OR?
I have to agree with seeing more of the VF, but I must say I really want to see some of those beautiful lavender & blue ones that were posted from somesone’s factory tour!
If anyone is interested,, I found an old green family set for sale (male, mother, young, haatchling) on craigslist. It also includes a wizard & small, black bat winged flapcap. The entire set is $400. Here’s the link: http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/clt/581073216.html
paypal won’t admit to the money being where it can earn interest, but we all know what appes behind the scenes. if u go nopaypal.com u can see the lawsuits they’ve had against them for just this type of problem. hope it works out for u
I don’t use PayPal for reasons just such as this. You need to get them on the phone and ask them what happened to the money. If they took it out of his account, it should have been put into your account. However, PayPal likes to ‘arbitrait’ with your money. They claim they’re investigating, but in reality they’re holding your money in funds where it earns interest for them. If you’d like to call to find out what’s going on and where your money is, their number is 888-221-1161. Please call and harass them as much as possible.
It was just things like this and talking with people there who would say “I’m not authorized to give you that information” that were driving me mad. Supposedly my account was somehow liked to another account in Oregon. When I asked what criteria they used to link them, then couldn’t give that out, even though it was my account that was being messed with. It was my business name, but they said it had to be more than that cause they don’t link accounts off only 1 field. Well, in the end they had no proof, held on to my money for 8 months until I could convince them to give it up, and I closed my account as they can’t be trusted. I’ve lost out on a lot of deals cause people prefer PayPal, but they don’t listen to the people and I feel they just steal your money and don’t really listen you. Sorry for the gripe, but that’s how I feel Hope this helps!
I gotta get me some! All of these are absolutely gorgeous!
I found an emerald lap dragon for $100 that’s in mint condition. I think it’s a great deal!
I don’t say much on here, but I was noticing all the comments on making sure our Windstones are in our wills. Just as info, I take a picture of the Windstone, and on the back I write the price, the price with shipping, the name of the Windstone, if it’s signed, if it comes with a certificate of authenticity, and when I bought it. I then put this with any paperwork I might have, such as an invoice or certificate of authenticity for proof. This is good for insurance purposes, but also is a good record for value sake.
What a find! If you’re looking for new homes for an Emporor or find any lap dragons in there, I’d be interested!
Willing to sell a SIGNED Pearl Sitting Griffin. It comes with a certificate of authenticity also signed by M. Pena. Box was only opened was to verify safe arrival, and comes from a non-smoking home. Please contact me with your offer, as all offers will be considered. Shipping and insurance will be added on depending on where it’s being shipped to.
I know I haven’t been on the forum much, but PT knows me and has done business with me, so if you have any questions, you can talk to her.
I’d love the chance to get my hands on a Shasta Blue dragon, and I wouldn’t even care which one. That is absolutely gorgeous!
No, this is definitely an emerald…at least she comes across that way on my computer.
