I have minpins and they are small so that means lots in the bed. I would do anything for my dogs also. Glad your baby is okay!!!!! let her sleep with you at least one night post vet visit….hehehehe

I have the word SUCKER tattooed on my forhead!!!! Those pics represent about a tenth of the animals that have passed though in one year. I rehabbed wildlife from 1987 to 1995 and then just did cats and dogs since.
I have never less than about 20 animals….
But I don’t want to hijack this thread! sorry!

You know you are addicted when you buy an $800 Windstone on Ebay (because it is #23 OW BEP) and you tell your husband you just got a “Great Deal” on a new Windstone and it is comming in soon. 🙂
I always tell my husband how much I saved on each piece….hehehe

Horrible, but valuable lessons in having a pack like I do. That happened a long time ago and I haven’t had any trouble in about 7 or 8 years. Makes you a better pack leader….
Ohh and the puppies all came to me with the mommas who were in animal shelters..I do not breed dogs…all got special homes 🙂

I had noticed that the tip of one of her molars had broken off, but it didn’t seem so bad. Still, I thought I might as well get my vet to look at it… Turns out not only is the tip broken, but the whole tooth is split in two all the way into her gum!
My poor little girl 🙁 I had to leave her there so that she can get the tooth pulled tomorrow. And I didn’t even have time to prepare myself mentally for this 😕
The appartment feels so empty… I know I’m going to have trouble falling asleep…
I know, I know, I’m terrible… It’s just that she’s my baby…
Anyway, the whole deal is going to cost me about $600.00! So this sale turned out to have really, really good timing!
Sorry about your pup….the cost seems awfully high…but I guess Canada is more expensive?
I have lost 3 dogs in the last 6 months….all old and ill….I have 10 others all 5 years and older…most are over 10 years, so I know how you feel. I would spend any amount and do anything for my pack!!!

I rescue Miniature Pinschers and I have 9 unwanteds plus an unwanted Dachshund (her momma had to go to nursing home and then passed away…the family didn’t want her or her momma…so sad)
I also have a number of unwanted cats and two kittens. I walk around asking people I just met if they want a kitten 🙂 They think I’m nuts and they are probably right!!! I am also offering free shots and spay/neuter on any animals that I can give away!
I also have 5 unwanted sugar gliders and 2 hedgehogs that I actually purchased….
But, hey, they are all actually wanted by a nut like me….because they all deserve to be loved….
SOOO HOORAY FOR YOU FOR ADOPTING THIS POOR FELLA!!!!
God gives a special place in heaven to all those people who take care of his creatures!!!!!
Or if you believe in Karma….what goes around comes around and you will have good things happen to you for helping out innocent creatures!
PS Don’t leave the cats alone with her, she looks like Belle my German Shepherd who ATE one on my Min pins…..be careful, if she is dog aggressive then she will be all critter aggressive without supervison.
So glad you are okay…make sure you see the Ob/Gyn and let them know you have been stressed about Hubby in hospital and about the fire.
The stress can cause you to miscarry….and we don’t want that. If you weren’t close to the smoke, then the inhalation isn’t a big worry.
I am so glad you are okay, your hubby is home and that your house didn’t catch on fire.
You need a vacation girl!!!!

I tit would be fun if all the forum members share their funny notes about being addicted to Windstones. So please chime in with the crazy things you do for Windstones!
You know you are addicted to Windstones when you rush home at 5 pm so you can out snipe other Windstone collectors for an Ebay auction ending at 5:30 pm, and you skip going to the grocery store because of it (even though you are out of milk and almost out of toilet paper).
