I race…and so does he. So we have about 210k in vehicles hanging about…small beans about the Windstones..and I can’t say all the cars are for the hubby. The Viper and Vette are mine 🙂 Did I say I like Blue?

I certainly understand and everyone should take a deep breath…these coiled moms seem to be very rare. Personally I have a white that I have had since new and several forum members told me the piece could actually go for as much as $300. So ebay seems like a very fair way to get the best price.

I am going to be watching your auction for sure and may possibly be in the running for her….I really want an emerald coiled mother….but….I am sure they are harder to find than the white and peacock.

Good luck….list her for a lot of days, she will do great! Ohh and you gotta do what you gotta do…..

I have a Windstone trade pal (buddy on the forum)….it is a great arrangement. I find stuff for him and he finds stuff for me….and we watch ebay for each other. I highly recommend it. He has a friend who had an extra red flame that he was willing to sell and he is sending the little guy packed in my Emperor box.

I sent him an Emperor last month and he was going to send the box back anyway. Of course we pay each other for the Windstones.

But if you can get set up with someone like that…it sure makes finding things a bit easier 🙂

Exactly, Insuring collectibles is like insuring jewelry. I am planning on getting a policy this fall. American Collectors doesn’t even need pictures unless a particular piece is worth $2000, no matter what the total collection value is insured for.

I am still waiting on my Red Flame Curl…but here are my coiled/curled dragons so far. I would also like to get the mother in emerald and the male coiled in emerald…

and the Hoofers…well, I would love to see a picture of a collection that has a Black Grand Unicorn….since they are so rare…any forum members have the whole set? Show us your pics…

We insure 4 Collector Cars with American Collector’s Insurance and they also insure collectibles like Windstones. I checked with them the other day.

You regular homowners won’t cover expensive collectibles. I am planning on starting a policy with them this fall. For my Windstones, Books and Die Cast collections.

We are happy with them as far as the cars go. I have about 70k worth of cars on stated value policies and it only costs me about $1000 per year…which is fantastic!

I have the #23 Black Emerald Peacock Old Warrior and I think I bought one of the last Ruby Old Warriors that were still hanging out in stores on the internet. The Old Warrior is my absolute favorite Windstone. So I bought one of the White Old Warriors over the weekend and he will be here next Monday. I can answer the question of if he is signed or not and take pictures.

Since I paid as much for an Black and Gold Emperor and for my Emerald Spectrals, I think the $300 price is actually very reasonable. I like the Old Warrior better than the Emperor and will buy others that come available. I think Gold is next on my list and then I will go from there.

I will certainly be watching Ebay to see what other prototypes show up! I would love to have a Silver.
