You are thinking of Tarts…possibly…ooops I was late!
Did someone do something nice for you today? I hope so! Share your Valentines Day with us 🙂
And if you were neglected we can get together and plot retribution 🙂 Hehehehe…just joking, but feel free to brag, share or vent, whatever the case might be 🙂
Happy Valentines Day to Everyone!
I buy a lot from ebay, but I usually sell or trade through the forum.
If you have a net work of people you trust, there can be many things traded or sold, just through PM’s.
I have sold things through the forum that I noticed that people wanted and I had an extra. So I PM the person, tell them I have a certain item and this is what I would like for it.
It has worked for me….and it is less stressful than ebay and I don’t mind doing lay away…
At least you are okay! Good luck! Take care!
Melody,
You know that Windstone addicts will buy anything you choose to create…and this was on the Community forum…..sooooo…I had to bring it up as a crazy/funny suggestion..

That’s a reverse poad(tm) 😆
Maybe we could call him a Tort (Toad/Parrot) This could be just the thing Melody should include in Reptangle and make them the evil cousins of the Poads…

I am not one who would ever get a tattoo, but if I was gonna get one….I would probably get a little poad on my butt 🙂 How silly is that?
How about this? The Emperor is not my favorite sculpture…but I just LOVE the Black and Gold one. He just looks so forboding…..
As you can see he is very large. The Old Warriors are about twice the size of the Lap Dragons. The Emperor is actually taller than the Rising Spectrals.
You need to beg for it. They don’t make the brochures any more…….they are a piece of Windstone history…..
Be subtle…they might not know how valuable they are..I got many of mine for free 🙂
PaperCut wrote:Those are cool! I always wondered where people were getting them from. At first I thought they were included with the bigger pieces in their boxes. 😳
When I fisrt started collecting Windstones in 1987
or so…they had a tag that hung around the statue. You could get the brochures from the dealers like
Wick’s and Sticks and the boxes had styrofoam molds that the dragons fit into.I have been saving brochures since I started collecting Windstones. I have an original Flion,
hatching Maiasaur, Black griffin, Peacock Male, Peacock Female, Brown Male, Old Green Young…
and a few others….Over the last 20 years, I have saved every piece of Windstone stuff…
because they remind me of Anne McCaffery’s Pern Dragons…..
so I ended up with some neat stuff….Here is a picture of some of my collection together…maybe it will give you an idea….
If you want more specific PM me and I can take pictures of certain pieces together….
The Emperors are the tallest except for Secret Keepers…and the Old Warriors are the bulkiest…
The laps and scratchers are about the same size as the males and females…..
Griffins are larger than Flions..
I have one of almost everything, so if you want specific pictures…let me know….
I bought out a dealer’s old stuff about a year ago…I haven’t seen anyone post anything in a while on brochures.
So I thought everyone would enjoy this. I also bought some stuff from a local guy,
that isn’t pictured.I have all the brochures…not all are pictured (I have the Castle Brochure).
I also have a few newsletters and correspondence from
Windstone to the dealers.I just figured everyone would enjoy looking 🙂
Here is the castle brochure :
