I love the color, but I admit to not being a fan of the orientals. So I think I’ll pass. My luck, if I entered, I’d win and not be able to enter in the next few months, when one I really like is the raffle!

What exactly is Twitter?
As it is already May 22nd, I was thinking that maybe there would be no raffle this month. I would be 🙁 , but then again, I rarely win raffles, but still, there is always a chance!

I agree, she is magnificent!. The snow leopard chick is going to go for a very high price! I need to win the lotto!
I also noticed that there is a brown mother and she is signed! I have never had a signed piece before. I will behave though and let the sentimental value of having had my brown mother since the 80’s. For years I have looked at her and seen her messed up neck and cringed remembering as my son pulled her off the shelf onto himself. That memory will finally fade once Kyrin has a chance to operate on her!

I’m curious too. Patient, but curious!

I kept comparing things to the way they were, but I still really liked it. I am ready to go back again. I get the impression that now that Kirk is captain he’ll settle down into the likeable womanizer we all know and love.
I started watching in the mid 70’s and not only did I go to conventions I worked some too. I got to meet a bunch of actors. Most of them were really nice. From the original show, the only ones I didn’t meet were Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelly; although I did hear Nimoy do a talk at one of the colleges. From Next Generation I believe I met them all, although meeting Patrick Stewart was kinda a passing thing. I am ashamed to say I am drawing a blank as to whom I met from DS9.
I guess with the kids screaming in the other room is killing some brain cells. Before what little is left of my mind, I had better go mediate.

It is just so hard. It has been 10 years since I lost Brandi, but everytime I hear some talk about their beloved pet, it feels like I am back in that moment. I found this poem very helpful. The webpage with the graphics adds to it also. The link to it is
http://rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htmJust this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….

Oh, I believe that! I have heard nothing but incredible things about the quality of Kyrin’s work. I wait, quite patiently, until my name gets to the top of her list.
Like I have said before, I need to win the Lottery. It is the only way I can get all the pieces I missed out on over the years and all the wonderful pieces available now and in the future!

AAARRRRGGG! There is a a brown mother listed on ebay! This is torture. I have to keep telling myself that I am now on Kyrin’s waiting list and it will be so much better to have have repaired than to buy a new one. That will be my mantra until that listing ends in 6 days. To be honest, the odds are she’ll end up selling for more than I can afford to spend. Who am I kidding, her starting proce is more than I should be spending. Darn this economy! Being laid off really stinks. Thanks for letting me ramble!

Okay, this topic has made me feel quite old. I want to know when I went from being one of the youngest in a group to be one of the oldest? Maybe not so much when, but how did this happen? What is even more depressing is that I may be one of the older in this forum, but I also have one of the smallest collection. Maybe I’ll sell the kids into white slavery and buy some more! Yeah, I like that idea. I bet my husband wouldn’t even object. This idea has potential!! 😈
