Introducing my hoard! Sorry for the terrible picture quality lol, my lighting in the house is terrible and my camera is 5 versions old xD
These guys are in their forever placement, I’m actually in the midst of collection organizing and they will probably be going in a case once all is said and done
So, The Donkey decided to take a small journey across the country and found a new home… And a new knight has come to stay with me!
Introducing… Sir Spots-A-Lot!
I hadn’t precisely been planning on obtaining a secondary Safari, but those ears, wings and mane sold me completely. So this lil’ guy is here to stay.
Thank you Kim for the tip! I went ahead and took a few in sunlight pictures of my new duo!
First up, Sapphire Fire, who I have realized is actually a shade darker than the original! She is a midnight blue, while the original was more of an azure.
Hadn’t posted up my beauties yet! The kickstarter that, aha, kickstarted my collection!

Got four in all – my original two from the kickstarter, clones 105B and 109Z (again, thank you to everyone who provided pictures!). I fell in love with these two immediately and was so ecstatic to join the kickstarter and have the chance for clones!
105 has a lot of lovely colorshift green-gold paint, which was a surprise! Adore the pink on the wings 109Z. I’ve named them Taiyang and Twilight.Then my other two from the extras, original 29 and clone 161B. I need to take better pictures once we have sunlight again.
29 is truly to die for, and these sunrise shades matches beautifully with Twilight. 161 I kept adoring because it was in the kickstarter picture – that blue won me over. Not as much orange as the original, but he’s got some lovely purple on his muzzle and teal-green on his forearms and part of his tail. Named them Dawn Rhapsody and Sapphire Fire.Honestly they are all gorgeous and I couldn’t be happier!
Here are my two! Horse #12 I’ve named “The Donkey” and Safari #51 “Ginger Root”.
I’m holding on the Safari for sure, but I’m heavily debating trading off the horse. It wasn’t quite the coloration I was hoping it would be.
Would be nice to know where we are in the backer numbers that have been received. I know I’m going to be waiting, but it would be nice to have an idea of how much longer. Being backer 227 of 275 means no shipping notice yet. 😕
If it makes you feel any better, I’m backer 276…. of 275 xD So I’m even beyond the backer count.
Thanks to everyone who shared those detailed picture of 109 for Melody! The clone is for me. I’m really curious to see how it’ll turn out without the model on hand.
I’ve really been enjoying seeing everyone’s pictures, they’re all quite lovely!
