Screenshots from another little video about Blue Morpho dragons. This one, which shows three different dragons, was posted today (October 28) on the “Windtone Editions” Facebook page.
Windstone Editions says, “🦋 Behind the scenes with our Blue Morpho Dragons in the making! 🐉 These beauties are getting ready for a restock—stay tuned, they’ll be back soon! ”
Note about the poll – Gina says that “Calypso” is the equivalent of the new not-yet-named test paint color that was posted three days ago.
Question on Facebook – “Whatever that blue one was on the sample! 😆”
Gina’s reply – “the replacement for that one is calypso (it [I presume that she means the test paint] uses a lot of the colorshift paint and that’s not good long term)The test paint Toaster on a painting wheel with other dragons – screenshot from a video that Gina posted on October 25.
This may be the same Toaster dragon that Melody posted in August and Gina is painting other dragons to match? They look very similar!
Photo that Melody posted. I don’t know who actually painted the dragon.Gina has a poll going on Facebook asking which colors the first batches of Toasters should be painted. Unfortunately you only can vote on the “Windstone Editions Fan Club (Official)” Facebook page.
Today (October 28) Gina says, “Last couple days to campaign for your favorite! I’ll probably do the top three in a row, then things will be a bit more jumbled”
As of today the top three colors are:
Peacock (16%)
Brimstone (15%)
Blue Morpho (12%)Amethyst is a close fourth at 11%.

Screenshot from a little video posted on the “Windstone Editions” Facebook page on October 26 – Blue Morpho Spectral dragons being painted.
Windstone Editions says, “Ever wonder how we make the details on our Dragons POP? Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at our antiquing process, where we bring out every scale and crack to perfection. A few more of these Blue Morpho beauties will be restocking soon—keep an eye out! 🐉✨”
Even more photos posted today (October 25)! These are from the “Windstone Editions Fan Club (Official)” Facebook page.
Gina says, “A continuation of one of my very first test paints (a family of griffins) that I’ve always wanted to paint more of! Blue-Ringed!
Don’t worry though! They’ll never bite you 🥰”Note – Gina painted the first Blue-Ringed Octopus pieces in 2015!
Hello,
My beloved Gareth, whom I’ve had from the mid 1980’s, has fallen on the ground and broken. I’m heartbroken. As he’s plaster, can anyone recommend what I could use to fix him and perhaps even suggest the paint?
Best wishes
BelindaSorry about your dragon!
You might find some answers to your questions in the “Repairs” section of this Forum. It would be best to post this again in that location. There also are people who do repairs and/or can offer advice. Drag0nfeathers is a magician at making broken Windstones look new!
After looking at the class pics I thought that I didn’t want a striped Poad. Then I unpacked this girl and changed my mind. 🙂
Her flower design really is lovely, and as a bonus she has five little kitties sitting on her stripes.!The sign is a new “Show You Really Have the Windstone” requirement for the Facebook group. It seems like a good idea.
Melody’s comment on deviantArt – “The written part was done in archival, smudge-proof golden Etherian ( classy) but the cartographers used pigmented inks for the map on the back. Archival, but not waterproof. ”
Are 24ss and 24PP the same thing?
Very pretty!
Me too PLEASE. I LOVE Poads and Winter is my FAVORITE time of the year! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a winter themed Poad.
Thank you, Melody, so much for all your hard work painting these for us.
Don’t forget to email Susie (if you haven’t already done that).
I would love to see pix too! Blue/silver winter is my favorite!
Also the email address for Susie is a bit off. Found that out when I sent her an email using that link.
Thanks! -
