That’s really cute, I wonder if there are silver bengal chicks too? Not that I’d be able to nab any of them on Ebay though lol!

I have two, and they’re vastly different from each other in the paint department.
(IGNORE the red eyes…I switched his eyes so I could see what he’d look like with red eyes.)
Basically what I’m looking for is the fledgie on the right (all that pretty gold paint on the chest) but I want the paint to go all the way down the chest like the one on the left.
The one of the left is awesome, very very pink/purple, but he doesn’t match my OW
Wow I love the colour on the one on the left. Are the wings more pink/purple too? Mine doesn’t have much purple except for the feet.

Hopefully that shows what I mean better. The only scale that’s pretty much all black is the one right on the bottom between the feet. The rest above it, even though a bit darker in the pic than what my naked eye sees, have a light gold coating until it blends into the brightest gold.
Yep! I think that is the one she was looking for.First one I have seen like that, very pretty.I see,I see. Thanks for all the input 😀Ah this one came from a local shop that was selling Windstones so I’m not sure how old it might be as they might have had it for a while before I bought it. I wonder if Windstone started the batches with the full painted chest and then changed to lesser paint? Or the other way around even? I’ve only been collecting for about 2 years and the Black Gold Fledgling and Lap were my first pieces that got me into the hobby. ^_^

Looking at my fledge, the gold/red paint on the chest goes most of the way down to it’s feet, except for a small area say half an inch on the bottom where black is blended into it… hope that makes sense.
I love that colour on the Kirin, I hope that’s one of the colours that Melody chooses for LP Kirins in the future. squeek*
I know someone who used to live in the UK and who married someone in the US. All I recall is that he had to get a marriage license or equivalent in the US. He now lives in the US with his wife and it didn’t sound like he had any major problems along the way. Except he had to apply for an extension of his Visa before the marriage I think so that he had more time to stay before they got married.
Wow, that was a good price for an Ebay Flap Cat. I didn’t go for it as I already won Magic and I prefer the metallic wings. Congrats to whoever got him though!

I saw 6 originally and then as it got down to the last one, it was updated with four more. So maybe 10?
Love the sculpt as always but the colour isn’t for me so I won’t be nabbing one. Congrats to all who get one in this first batch. ^_^
Cute kitties! One of my cats likes to do exactly what Mouse is doing – put his arm around something when he’s sleeping. It’s a funny trait. ^_^
Oh yes, the OW would look oh-so handsome in pink. squeek*
“Man-genta” brings to mind a darker pink, perhaps with a slight purple/fuchsia hue mixed in. The mind wanders.
Wow, metallic wings on the Birman would look great. ^_^ *Squeak*
Lokie wrote:Melody said she intended to make more after the move. She even mentioned maybe given them metallic wings or something else that separates them from the LA Birmans. There’s a thread here somewhere where it’s stated, but I can’t locate it at the moment. But she might have changed her mind since then (this was pre-Oregon). *waits for answer*
What I’ve heard is someone has all the passwords of people who fell for phishing scams. This info was then posted on a forum. So it’s probably best to change passwords for MSN, Hotmail, etc. I know I haven’t fallen for any phishing scam emails but just to be safe I changed my Hotmail password.
Two UK news articles I dug up:
I’d like to see more Birman cats if they haven’t been retired yet. 🙂
