I love the Amethyst color but absolutely hate those orange eyes.

I agree, orange and purple has never looked right in my mind.

#1 with the violet/blue eyes was my favourite, I’d love to be able to win an Amethyst Lap and choose that colour. So for #6-#10 I like the idea of choosing your own colour.

I’d love to see more cats like Slick in the store sometime, doesn’t have to include the magic paint though as I figure that’s rather time consuming. But a full black cat with red jewels and eyes would be perfect. Perhaps some of the proceeds could go to charity if the store price is increased a little?

              I love this artwork:

Did you ever do prints of it or would you consider making prints? 🙂

I think the biggest gift I’ve received was a huge dead squirrel on the carpet which was about the same size as my smallest cat lol!

I’ve also had a huge dead dragonfly which was rather pretty. I doubt it flew in because it was left outside my bedroom where my cats often left gifts lol! I did find a live mouse in the house once which I could only accredit to one of my cats not killing it properly before dragging it in. Luckily I could grab his tail and release him outside.

Then there’s the tale of my cats raiding a Blue Tit nest and bringing the babies into the house one by one. Sadly, even though I looked everywhere for a calling mother, I just couldn’t locate the nest and I couldn’t keep the babies alive by myself so they were gone within an hour or so. 🙁

I wish we could have choices for eye colour when these hit the store. I love the violet, moreso than the orange. Is there any way there can be more than one eye colour available in store, like the Copper Patinas recently?

                      Welcome! 🙂

I see we’re at two different ends of the country but I know of one nice store that normally sells Windstones.

                      http://www.thenewforest.co.uk/thedms.aspx?dms=13&venue=3702039

The “Coven of Witches” used to have a variety of Windstones in stock but I think last time I checked they had sold them all. If I recall, they haven’t placed an order for quite a while either. I think the bad exchange rate may have put them off buying in large stock for a while, or they may have just stopped stocking Windstones for the time being. If you’re ever down south though, it’s a nice shop in a nice location. 🙂 I’ll have to ask about their Windstone situation next time I go in.

I buy most of my Windstones online now though, straight from the official store here.

Wolfen, if it wasn’t for our International buyers, sadly the U.S. sellers wouldn’t be making much money – they really do tend to be able to afford things more! I highly suggest everyone open their selling to International because of it; I have sold to just about everywhere: Singapore, U.K., Canada, Colombia, well everywhere pretty much.

It’s good to see someone in the US advocate international shipping. 🙂

I’ve had countless occasions where Ebay sellers in the US won’t ship abroad just because it’s “too much hassle” for them. Customs forms are nothing to be afraid of – item name, value, date & signature – then you’re done. But if those sellers don’t want the extra money on their auctions, it’s their loss I guess.

If it helps, shipping to the UK for an Emperor is coming up on the Windstone store as $73.75 using Priority Mail. Just to give a rough idea of international shipping.

USPS is cheaper for me, rather than Fedex or UPS. May or may not be the same for Australia but I’m guessing it is.

Are there any dealers that sell online that have these in stock right now? Hopefully I can grab one from the Windstone store though.

My mum mentions “flashing lights” when she gets migraines. All those different kinds of vision disturbances are related to migraines though. Glad you were able to get it sorted. 🙂

When I get a migraine, my left eye normally goes completely blurry starting with the left corner and then gradually moving into the whole of the eye. I can’t see out of it at all when this happens. Other people can experience tunnel vision, although I’m not too sure what this is myself as I don’t think I’ve had it. The eye blindness is my “warning signal” and I have a short amount of time to take some painkillers before I get the actual migraine pains. Perhaps because you took some painkillers, it stopped the migraine from forming?

I don’t know anything about eye-strain though so perhaps it could be something else.
