*howls with laughter* I’ve always loved the ‘cat diary’ never fails to make me laugh out loud πŸ˜€

    —————-

A man had 50 yard line tickets for the Super Bowl. As he sits down, a man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him. “No,” he says. “The seat is empty.”

“This is incredible,” said the man. “Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Super Bowl, the biggest sporting event in the world, and not use it?”

The first man says, ‘Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Super Bowl we haven’t been to together since we got married .”

“Oh … I’m sorry to hear that. That’s terrible. But couldn’t you find someone else, like a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the seat?”

The man shakes his head. “No. They’re all at the funeral.”

When I heard about this yesterday afternoon I honestly thought it was some cruel joke, and even after finding out that it was true I just can’t wrap my head around it. I just feel so horrible about it, especially for his little girl. He was such a great actor and had so much more ahead of him. I remember watching Brokeback Mountain and crying on and off for 2 days because it was so touching. This is just so tragic to hear. I haven’t felt so sad about a stars death since hearing about Steve Irwin πŸ™

I’m so sorry to hear about your little Broozer. He looked so adorable in the photo, what a sweetie. I’m so sorry for your loss. *hugs* from one pet lover to another.

Oh my goodness those pictures are just adorable! I LOVE the little baby sitting with that huge doggie! So precious, it’s a shame you can’t keep her, but it’s wonderful to see her doing so well!

Finally getting up the nerve to post my first and second muse. They did a photo shoot together to save space πŸ˜‰ I’ve never painted anything before and the first (green, black, and pink) was quite a challenge. I started by painting the whole thing black, then figured out that I couldn’t paint the colors over that-lol So, I had to then paint all the areas I wanted colored white, so the color would show. A paint brush was lost when it fell down the sink drain-he may have jumped πŸ˜‰ Then trying to superglue the crystals on, I glued my thumb to the muse, and removed the paint when I pulled it off-lol

Anyway, my second attempt that I just did this weekend was a little better off-at least I tried to be a little more detailed. They’re not the best-but lets face it-those little guys are TOO cute no matter what you do to them πŸ™‚

Muse 1 is still waiting for something to hold in her mouth-I can’t really find anything πŸ™ And Muse 2 is waiting on some crystals. I don’t have any that fit.

in reply to: ***UPDATE***My grandma's cat is NOT missing! #629786

Oh no, the poor kitty. πŸ™ I really hope he comes home safely. Depending on the area he lives in, you might want to put an ad on Craigslist with a photo. A few weeks ago my friend found a dog and put the info up and started getting responses the same night.

(and about halloween-I always feel nervous about this time too-our local cat shelter won’t adopt out black cats this month, and one year had all it’s windows and doors broken out 2 nights around halloween. No cats were taken-but still πŸ™ )

So we got Ashley Marie instead.

My name is Amanda πŸ˜€ and my middle name is Claire. I’ve always loved the name Ashley, and Haley too πŸ™‚
