😀 Okay, I’ll confess… and I can’t wait to see him!!! I really want the whole family (this is my very first griffin – I waited to get an awesome one!), but I don’t know how hard that will be…. :shrug: I’ll post pics when he comes, but they probably won’t be any better than Arlla’s.. :0)

There was one at my local store recently. Price was a little higher than what Windstone retails it for, but it’s in mint condition and they keep the boxes.
There are leaf cat sconce molds set up in the casting department ready to go!
So, would it be possible to reserve 2 of them? I would be happy to pay in advance! PLMK Thanks! :0)

Actually, I’m hoping it’s YES!!! If there will, how would they be made available? I’ve tried all sorts of places with no luck, and I have a friend, who would cannot afford Windstone anything, for whom I would to buy one. Trouble is, I want one for myself, too! 😳
I’m a little confused, because I never saw the raffle announcement! Was it in the “Announcements” thread? That’s where I would look. I always thought this thread was for asking questions, so I don’t usually check it, unless I ask Melody a question, of course! Are names being automatically put in now, or should we email each time? Thanks so much! I want to be in on the December raffle…. :0)
I just ordered 4 PYO’s, and I didn’t know about the fuzzies :0( In fact, I don’t have even one! Oh well… I guess next time!

When we first started selling dragons we had one store that would regularly buy them and then glue more crystals and jewels on. So there are probably quite a few genuine Windstones out there with odd stuff glued on like this. I have never seen one like this though! Usually the large wizard will have crystals glued to the top of his staff. I guess the small one had no other good place to glue more on!
I kinda like it.Hiya! And I don’t know how it looks to you, but the crystal on the staff looks too big to me, and the one on the head looks the right size. It’s almost as if the original crystal came off and was “lost”, so they replaced it with a new one that was bigger. Then the “lost” crystal was found, and rather than re-replacing the staff crystal, they simply thought “WWMD?”, and stuck it on his head… 😉

The poor guy! All his friend wizards must be laughing at him….. ROFL!!! :0)I am a Whovian from waaaay back. My favorite doctor is Tom Baker, but Tennant is a close 2nd. He absolutely adores being the Doctor, and it shows! It’s funny, but the Brits seem to detest Rose whereas Americans really like her. In that last episode I think Rose really loses out, in the end. She has a “doctor”, but he’s not the one she spent time with, and will always remind her of what she lost. I can’t see her being truly happy. One of my favorite companions is Leela, the knife-wielder. I also like Sarah Jane and, of course, K-9. I haven’t seen Torchwood because we don’t get BBC, but I would like to see it. It will probably end up on SciFi eventually. I also love SGSG1 and Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica. :0)

I am also new on this forum, and whoever put in the objection is the one who should be shy of posting, not Phoenix! I don’t know any of you at all, not even your reputations on this forum, but most of what I have read is people supporting other people, and that’s the way it should be. I almost feel that if you aren’t willing to post your comments for everyone to read, you shouldn’t put them in a PM, either. Aside from transacting business, PM has little use. This is a social forum, meaning made up of a group of people with similar interests, not just two. If something is posted that does not appeal, ignore it. This is called the “Flea Market”, which to me means a place to sell whatever you want, for whatever reason, stated or not. If a forum member wants to make some money, that’s perfectly fine. If no one wants to pay the asking price(s), that’s fine, too! I was “bidding” on Phoenix’s items, and now I’m disappointed. Is it fair that one person should be able to disappoint so many others with inappropriate expressions of opinion? I don’t think so… Come back, Phoenix, and with your head held HIGH!!! :0)
We’ve had the “storm a day” thing goin’ on here for a week, at least! Lakes Erie and Ontario put their heads together sometimes, and this is what we get! We had our 15′ trampoline picked up and hurled into the trees like it was made of matchsticks, and just finished repairing it and setting it up again. I was watching it out the window, actually thinking I might run out and grab hold if it started to look loose! I don’t mind the weather, though, because we were in a drought, and now everything is growing like crazy! I’m looking forward to having too many tomatoes… ;0)
I didn’t see anyone mention heaters, but Bettas really do prefer warm water. They can do well in a community tank, as long as they are the only Betta, of course! I have had one in my 10 gallon tropical tank with algae-eating shrimp and tetras and/or any of those little tropical varieties. I also use a filter, but it’s just a small cartridge type, and I can adjust the bubbliness so it’s not too disturbing. :0)
I cannot seem to win with the goldfish. 🙁 I have a constant battle with the nitrate level. All other levels are fine, with the hardness being a little high, though. Very frustrating with goldfish! I think when the ones I have now die, I’ll make that tank (29 gallons) tropical…
