I just looked at the “Food” section for the first time and I have to admit I had more laughs than I have had in a long time you guys are great.
I just wanted to let you know I wasn’t laughing at any of you guys but some of your cooking disasters remined me of many of mine.
I’ll have to do that next time I bbq ribs. I cut them in serving size pieces and boil them for 20 minutes the day before I put them on the grill then put them on a hot grill for about 10 min. on each side basting with bbq sauce. The meat almost falls off the bone its so tender. A friend of mine told me to do that – before that I had never heard of doing it.
Has anyone ever tried Beer Bread it’s great and easy to make and it tastes like regular bread. You can add anything you like to it such as cheese and japalenos, cinnamon and nutmeg or whatever suits your fancy.
Beer Bread
3 cups self-rising flour
1 can beer – room temperature
5 TB sugarGrease loaf pan – stir ingredients together – Bake at 375 for approximately 1 hour. (depends upon oven
my oven doesn’t bake to well so many times I finish the last bit in the microwave – 3 minutes or so because the center doesn’t stick done but the top is.)If you use regular flour (I sometimes use wheat flour)
Add 4 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
and that makes it self-rising flourI’m glad you posted the larger pictures when I posted mine I had messed with the size in Photobucket when I sent pictures to Pegais1978 to create my siggi and now don’t know how to reset it for the larger ones so my were very little. I am not to smart about this.

I wish i hyad known about that before it went out in the trash. I would have relisted him. I did not know that he would be wanted broken.
