I hope everyone had a happy St. Patrick’s day. I had my usual St Patty’s party and everybody had a great time. We had corned beef, cabbage, corn on the cob, red potatoes, cupcakes, cookies, drumsticks and for the ones that couldn’t eat sugar I had No Sugar Added Ice Cream Sandwiches. Everybody ate to much. As usual I am the cook – Plus all the booze
Congratulations on your new furbaby and give love to the others
Have a great trip and family reunion
Welcome Back
I have lived in SE FL for over 15 years but I used to live in Atlanta and boy when we got a fraction of an inch everything came to a halt. It was a mess because Atlanta has no snowplows, salt, etc and is extremely hilly. I am originally from Kansas City, MO when I was growing up and I hope I never see snow and ice again.
Welcome
Has anybody used those soap gel packs in the front loaders with the automatic dispensers? I have been afraid to try one for fear of it getting stuck somewhere before it gets to the clothes and would love to know if anybody has had any experience with them.
I actually use those almost exclusively. You don’t put it in the dispenser at all. Toss it directly in the drum before you put the clothes in, then program your load as normal.
Thank you I’ll get some. I use them in my dishwasher and love them so much less messy than the liquid
Definitely a front loader. I have a set made by Whirlpool called Duet and both the washer and drier start by simply pushing a button. It the past I had a top load washer that had a knob for choosing and setting and the knob broke after a few years and in checking for that part it was $125 (ouch) with a push button you don’t have to worry about that happening.
LOL – the broken knob definitely brings back memories! My mom’s washer (Kenmore top loading) is at least 25 years old, and the choosing wash cycle/turn on the machine dial has been broken for over 10 years. You can use a pair of pliers to turn the dial stem and pull it out to start the washer, so the pliers just live on top of the machine. 🙂
Mine was a Kenmore top loader also but would you believe my b/f fixed it with part of an old license plate off hi car. He can fix or repair just about anything I can break.
I have sent a message to ebay sellers once in awhile when there was a wrong description on a Windstone, especially when it is one like the royal hatchers, and they always thank me for it and try to fix it. I usually mention that a correction might bring more bidders and more money if the error is corrected.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all those wonderful Fuzzy’s (know the ‘ I wrong but I thought Fuzzy deserved it) and Susie for creating them
Welcome
That is why I retired in Florida – it did go down to 48 a couple of times lately and for here that is cold
As beautiful as that color is it would look great on any and all Windstones
I am very sorry to hear that
