Crimson, it seems you just put everything I like and bundled it up in one package! I love the scrapbooking supplies, and the jewels have a lovely coloration that I adore! The tea was delectable! It is one of the best teas I have tried, and it was very soothing-perfect for this fall weather coming up! I really love the bath and body works scent, and even though I have never owned a loufa (sp?), I am going to enjoy it!! And the chocolate…naughty naghty…but YUMMY YUMMY! lmao! I saw that you got purple m&m’s and it was nice you remembered my favorite color is purple. Yay! Glad everything got there safe! I tell ya; it was my first time going into the scrapbooking isle and man I had to remind myself constantly that i didn’t need another hoby! They have so much cool stuff! I did end up walking away with some 3-d scrapbooking crowns for myself. No idea what i’ll do with them but I couldn’t leave em. 😉

LOL, no. I work for a Defense Contractor so my work clothes are pretty sedate. As for my ‘down time’ clothes they are usually a little more comfy; jeans and a fitted tshirt. :p

It has been a CRAZY few weeks for me! I went away on vacation 2 weeks ago & ended up getting asked to perform in the Middle Eastern Dance Expo that was going on that week. I hadn’t prepared anything but grabbed what costume pieces I had with me, threw on some make up and hopped on stage! I found this picture on flickr this afternoon taken by a random person in the audience. I love how it came out! FYI, the pic is un-edited except to crop it!
Only 4 days after I got back from vacation I was in a HUGE belly dance competition with my troupe this past Thursday. This was my first performance with the Proffesional Troupe & boy was I nervous. It was our first time performing this routine as well which was a huge departure from our ‘normal’ stuff; the first song we danced to was ‘The CanCan’ from Moulin Rouge! Not your usual belly dance fare. 😉

We did a photoshoot on Saturday as well as performed again in the ‘All Star’ show. Videos were taken both nights as well so hopefully I can share those when I get them but I’ve been told to expect it to be a while. :p

Actually no it wouldn’t be late; the last day to put packages in the mail is Wednesday, September 1st which is next week! 🙂
FERN IS AWESOME!
I’ve been out if the house at a Belly Dance competition since Thursday (which we won! YAY!) but I finally was able to open the box that has been taunting me! So many fun goodies! Only took one pic as i really am about to pass out on my feet from being so tired but I think I’m set for swedish fish for a while:

EDIT: Grabbed a nap & then after the power came back on (urg, no A/C was not fun!) I took a pic of my goodies:
12 bags of Swedish Fish (Hubby will be rationing them to me as I am still trying to lose more weight! LOL!), a gold & black sequin & fringe hip scarf for belly dancing & matching earrings to it, a bar of Honey I washed the Kids soap & solid perfume from LUSH (heh, sorry for introducing you to a new addiction Fern! 😉 ) and a ‘Pug Protector’ figurine which is a pug dressed like a Knight! I actually already have one of these figurines but I’m going to bring the one Fern gave me to work to protect my windstones there. 😉

My gorgeous Peacock Feather Poad arrived yesterday; had to sprint to the post office to pick her up before it closed! Here is a pic of her with the rest of the flock:
Her details are unbelievable; each feather is notched and shaded just like a real peacock feather! The colors are soooo vibrant too! the green eyes perfectly match the inner green on the feather as well; I think I made the right choice!
Had to do a bit of re-arranging after I took that photo; do need room to work & all. 😉 The Poads are now in a straight line right in front of my monitors; now there is plenty of room for more! I think… 😉
Don’t have a pic of the certificate to share yet like I usually do; Pam was super awesome and got my Poad off to me asap as I leave tomorrow morning for a 9 day vacation. Rather than hold off on sending till Melody had time to do my certificate she will send it at a later date & I will share then.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up; I will be away from a computer & in the middle of nowhere in a tent with Hubby from the 6th – 15th (well, we are leaving on the 6th, wont get there till the 7th); we are heading to Pennsic War: http://www.pennsicwar.org/penn39/
After the year we’ve had… I cannot wait to get there.
I will have occasional chances to check mail every few days but do not plan to so please if you need something ping me now or otherwise i will catch you on the 16th when I am back at work! 😉
