Well, thankfully the first auction situation I talked about has come to a happy end; the buyer got their item on Tuesday and immediately left feedback. A few minutes after the feedback appeard my money was released in Paypal.
Just sold another ‘big’ ($200) ticket item last night and the smae hold is on the payment. This time I am REALLY nervous; the bidder has ZERO feedback (I always forget to limit that on the auctions! Grr!) but at least has a confirmed address in paypal. I will be shipping today and will require a signature upon delivery; might add some time on to delivery but I want to make sure that I am covered! I sent a message through ebay to the buyer in regards to that but haven’t gotten a reply which makes me nervous.
Urg.
Thank you very much everyone who commented or sent me a PM; it helps alot. I sort of feel this forum is the only real ‘me’ place as all other online thingies are riddled with both of our friends. Don’t really want to pit them against either of us yanno?
Last night he said he has been ‘reconsidering’ the split. I’m sort of trying to put it out of my mind until our counseling session on Friday afternoon. Going out for a ‘girls night’ tonight. Session is tomorrow at 5pm and then he’s going away for the weekend (down to Austin for an SCA event). I have another get together to go to on Sunday at noon but other than that I have no plans for the weekend. Will probably have to see how the session plays out.
Even though I am in Texas and currently reside in Dallas county alas I am not talking about the city.

As in my Husband told me on Sunday that he wanted one.
We’ve been having problems for a long time, have been in therapy together for over a year (I’ve been in therapy for about 3 years for it) but things have only gotten worse. I thought they were getting better in December but I guess I was wrong. We have another therapy session on Friday; I asked yesterday if I should start seperating my accounts & find someplace to live (unfortunately or fortunately I don’t know yet, the house is only in his name as he bought it before we were engaged/married) but he said to wait until after our counseling session on Friday. I honestly don’t have much hope that we will reconcile but there is still a little hope in me that we will.
I’m most worried about finding somewhere to live that will allow me to have my three pugs with me. I only had the two boys when I met him & we got Pearl the christmas after we were married and already had been in the house for over a year. Most apartment complexes only allow two animals & I really want a fenced yard for them anyways. FYI, we’ve been married for three years but thankfully only have furkids; the three pugs & two cats. The dogs will go with me and the cats most likely with him but I might put up a fuss about one of them. But I would probably be even less able to find a decent living space if I have 4 animals. 🙄
So yeah. I probably won’t be contributing to conversation as much in the near future while things play themselves out. I still plan on running the Spring Gift Swap; its a good distraction.
Would appreciate happy thoughts/good energy/prayers/whatever might help sent my way if you are so inclined.

I haven’t called them yet but I plan to do so today. Have been reading other horror stories online, even on the paypal forums of these problems. There has actually even been a website created to start a class action suit against them.

MmlodaYep, Paypal says they took the money from the buyer but that it can be held from my account for 21 days. They will only release it if the tracking number I entered shows it is delivered (but I have read that alot of people have problems with that too) or the buyer leaves me positive feedback.

Due to an unexpected bill I popped a few things on ebay. One of my sets of ostrich feather burlesque fans sold; they are pretty expensive so I was excited that they sold. Well I shouldn’t have been too excited because I’m not going to see that money for a while! Not only the money for them but I’m out the shipping cost & they were pretty pricey to ship since they are so big. Just what I DIDN’T need; more costs!
I don’t usually sell on ebay but I’ve hda the same account with Paypal since 1998! you’d think they would take that into account!

http://www.montecellostudios.com/Pyt.jpgSpeaking of model horses I FINALLY got my hands on one of the models that was sculpted after my horses’ sire; Pyt 325 (who has since passed away). I found out about it probably 5 years ago and the model had been LONG sold out (it was very popular) & have been trying to get my hands on one ever since but anytime they came up on ebay they went way out of my price range. I finally found one that I could afford earlier this year due to his front leg being damaged & repaired but still showed a small break line on it so I’m guessing would be bad for model showing. Anyways, he was a weird dun color so I found an artist to repaint him black for me (I actually posted about it on here a few months ago looking for reccomendations) and he just showed up on my doorstep over the holidays.
He’s GORGEOUS. She painted his blue highlights first I think & then layered black over it so they only show through a little; I noticed the highlights even more this morning when I took him into the sunlight to bring to work with me. I like the matte look on models so that was his finish. He has realistic brown eyes with appropriate highlights in them and dark grey hooves (which I think I will add a gloss to; I always had hoof shine on my boy). She even touched up the part where the break in his leg was so it looks even better; you can hardly see it. I took some pictures last night and thought I would share a few! Please forgive the slight bluriness; I’m still learning how to use our new camera.
He was expensive to buy, expensive to have repainted and yes, I’d have loved to spend that money on Windstones too but this was worth it!!

@ Abatos / Bodine – I want those light up roses; is one of them red? What do you use them for? Heh, love & collect roses too. 🙂
