Oops i just put in an order but i didn’t find out how much the curles are. Are they still $60?
No. They are $50. Susie says “These Black Gold Curled dragons are not a limited production item, they are not signed, nor do they come with a Letter of Authenticity”
I just saw the ended Sun Griffin auction 😯 and then saw the Moon Griffin. 😯 😯 I’m speachless. Everyone one else has said it all. Congrats Nam. Awesome!
Well, the fact that he made it into the display case helps. I am in serious need of a new one though! No more room! 😯
He’s here! Got him today, safe and sound. Once again, thank you Spark. And Whippet….I love him! Here’s a pic for anyone that might have missed him.
Now, lets see how long it takes my husband to notice him. 😆
Well, they may call it a wyvern, but it’s not my idea of one. But then every artist has their own interpretation. I’ve seen a number of griffins with lions feet on all 4 also. 😯
Prayers and best wishes for both of you.
That’s nice, but I’ve never seen a wyvern with front legs instead of back ones. 🙂
He’s too cute! Is he made of polymer clay?
😀 *happy dance* 😀
Now, to get him into the display case before my husband sees him. 😉
I forgot to say that this was fun. I hope we do it again sometime. Thanks Art and GB.

Thanks ddvm. That one was mine. It was taken on my first whale watching trip in the San Juan Islands in 1989. It was an incredible day that was topped off by this young whale surfacing right by us. I was using a Minolta X700 35mm with a 70 to 210 lens. I was probably using 200 speed film. I don’t remember the rest. No Photoshop. I wish I had re-scanned the original though, instead of using what I already had in the computer that had been reduced.
This was the beginning of an obsession for me that’s right up there with horses and Windstones. I worked on that boat for 3 summers.

😆 This is so true! It usually takes my husband 1 to 2 weeks to notice a new one and that’s only if it’s not in the display case. He just spotted the little rock dragon in the garden window last night (been there over a week). Two weeks ago I finally put my male pearl Griffin on the TV. I thought sure he knew it was there but was ignoring it. Then I showed him pics I took of it with the new chick. He says “You took that? Where?” 😯 I turned around and pointed to the TV. I won’t repeat what he said, but it’s a toss up whether he was more shocked or embarrassed. I doubt if my laughter helped. 😆
Maybe this has been brought up and I just missed it, but with all the talk about favorite colors, am I the only one that sees the metallic Poads as male and the neutral ones as female? I mean, they are part bird, and with birds, the males are usually more flashy. Was this what you had in mind Melody, or is it just me? 😀
Thanks GB. That’s what I was hoping to show.
I was going to post these last night, but my camera batteries died and I couldn’t download them. On top of that, I can’t find the charger!
