thanks star and lamorte
Oh, I LOOOVE them. And all I’ve seen is photos! I have a Young on the way…I’m so excited! [happy dance]
Edit:
AHAHAHAHAA!! Just as I wrote [happy dance] I turned around on TV and there is….NEIL PATRICK HARRIS XD On E I might add. Oh Harold and Kumar.
While putting some things up on a shelf in my room, I found a couple posters that I’d tucked away and COMPLETELY forgotten about! The best one being this:
It’s a signed, numbered, hand-made screen print by my absolute favorite graphic design teacher. That man meant a LOT to me. Amazing teacher.
Note the bitchin’ Communist Propaganda design styling. This was for a kickball event at a Nazarene school 😆 The title is “The Red Wedge.” Brilliant! Mine is 9 of 64. I wasn’t one of the lucky ones who got one–I inherited it from a schoolmate a few years later when he moved and was purging a bunch of stuff. I’m still not sure he has any idea how stoked I am to have this.
I’m framing it pretty much now.
Uhm…Mods? We need a “bouncing up and down with excitement” emoticon soooooooo badly….

twindragonsmum 😀
Gives me hope that there are sweet funny men out there 😀 Just not in SD apparently! I’m cracking up.
Really now, I think even the unicorn would be healthier than the hot pocket (more minerals). He should have switched them!
XD
I’ll miss Michael the most. He was the first musician I really got “into”, and then I started seeking out other kinds of pop music…he and his songs will always be special to me.
When my schoolmates found out I was basically even more of an outcast than I thought possible. Whatever. I like Mike!!! I was devastated to hear and kept hoping it wasn’t real.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA@DM!
XD
At those dentist colleges, wouldn’t they have a certified dentist working with you while the student observes and assists? They don’t kick a freshman in there with a chisel and a butter knife I’m sure. Well, I’m not, but it seems they’d need to protect themselves from all kinds of liability.
Yeah, I finally gave up on that place. It was hard because I loved the job, just a few people there became too much to handle. And when the person causing the strife is the President of the company, who do you go to? He didn’t even have an HR person. Work is hard enough without having someone make it worse every day for no reason.
LOL…but yeah, I’m selling some Windstones! 😳 My prices are asking, I will consider offers too.
Neat pics!
Has anyone here ever observed this odd atmospheric phenomenon that occurs during the late summer sometimes? As the sun is beginning to go down, instead of everything turning kind of golden, everything goes ORANGE! It is the coolest! My mom and sister and I have always called it “Pumpkinoodle” 😈
This cloud photo reminds me of it!
Don’t I know! That sucks. The same boss who thought 25 was too young to have any experience also favored one of his programmers over the artists. This guy had the most toxic personality ever, so I guess they made a perfect pair 👿 He spent all day on YouTube, listened to offensive music, called in sick twice a week, came late, left early, caused fights with every person who worked with him at some point, and pissed many off with his radical politics.
The worst part was, he couldn’t even program, and when the other programmer there who had been picking up his slack saw the pay stub that Toxic had just left out on his desk in the open, he blew a gasket–Toxic made TWICE as much as any of the artists. Hands down most backward place I ever worked for, and that’s saying something!
I love the hatching royals. I bought a rainbow pair on ebay planning to trade them, but they went right into my personal collection. They were twice as big as I thought, and so realistic my mom commented she expected them to blink. 😀 They have the sweetest faces!
Oooh, I just want to ring mine’s neck 😡
I get the worst luck with bosses. At another job a while back, I went in to ask my boss about how he gives raises (not even to ask for one!) and I got a litany about the economy (way before the crash was on the horizon), how my skill set was s***, how I was too young to be making a FAIR wage for a graphic designer in San Diego–age discrimination anyone? And I had 8 years relevant experience!–and of course how much better a designer he was than me.
I really thought I would spontaneously combust when he flippantly remarked, “Sure, I’d LOVE to give myself a 30,000k raise too, but just because I can doesn’t mean I should.” All I could think was, “You’re talking about giving YOURSELF a raise that’s more than my yearly salary while you explain that you can’t ever see yourself paying me more than entry level?!!?!?!?”
🙄 🙄 🙄
UPDATE 8/10/09: Condensed the list a bit and removed the sold pieces. I also have two Amethyst pieces for trade right over here!
All of these pieces have been thoroughly cleaned and dusted. No smoking in my house, I do have one cat though. They will be double-boxed and packed with tender lovin’ care. PM me with your zip and I’ll figure the shipping/insurance for ya. I’ve sent several pieces to forum members and they’ve all arrived safe and sound 🙂 Thanks much!
NOTE: If you PM me to inquire about a piece, delete the quoted post and it’ll go through much faster. All these images bog down the PMs. 😉
Gargoyle Logostone – $20
Mint condition, nice pretty copper. (Did the Logostones come with them?) Very nice!Peacock Mother Dragon – $80
This lady is in excellent condition and still factory-glossy, but she has had two very small repairs which the previous owner was kind enough to point out to me when I purchased her. She has a little nick on a back scale, and a repair to her elbow. All are circled–the elbow repair is quite good.Frog Prince – $45

[hugs] I’m sorry GL. My dad’s d-day is just a week or two before yours. Father’s day is hard for some people so I thought I’d put a little something up along with the nice happy posts, in case anyone wanted to say something about missing their dad too. I hope you and your mom are able to lean on each other when the tough dates come.
My dad’s grave is 2 hours away in our old town, I hope to get there soon. Going is really hard for me. I’ve gone 25 years without really mourning, or wanting to pity myself, so being confronted with it or talking about it with my family just instantly chokes me up. I’m working on it.
Aww, I’m a newcomer but that is a very sweet-looking Chow. I’m sorry you lost him–it sounds like he was very loved. How kind of the breeder to be thinking of you.
Hm, I was feeling down today, a little left out, so I wrote an e-mail to my friend/ex-bf’s dad to tell him how much I admired him. I’m sure he wasn’t expecting it, but he is an amazing man, and I still love his son more than anything (5 years after we split). I wouldn’t love David so much were it not for his father, Steven, and how much love he put into his children.
