Hooray Dragon! So happy for you!
Glad you’re on the mend! 🙂
So what is the difference between Carnival and Eggplant?
I think eggplant is uglier.
You crack me up, Pam! LOL
Haha! I actually like the finishing on the eggplant a little better than Rust/Carnival, but ….yeh those colors are not my cup of tea specifically. 🙂
Does that mean you got the car you wanted, Dragon???
LOL I definitely believe you. I’m sure Taryn would have been out of my reach. 🙂
With the prices I’ve seen GB Fantasy Unis go for I might have no choice but to sell Paraselene. I really didn’t want to but the holidays would be a bit easier to get through. 🙁
For what it’s worth you guys, you can search one forum at a time. Click the advanced search option, and choose which specific forum you want to limit your search to. I mentioned a few months ago that the search function seemed to not be working, but I just searched for ‘antiquing medium’ yesterday, using the advanced search. I was able to limit my search to just the PYO forum, and what I was looking for was on the first page.
Locking threads for people, imposing a ‘no conversation allowed’ rule, or limiting people’s ability to post, just seems kind of Orwellian to me.
If you guys start clicking the “Mark All Topics as Read” button at the top more frequently, I think you might find that the Flea Market isn’t as busy as you think. I check it almost every day and don’t usually see more than 5-6 updated posts per day. Even fewer in the Trade forum.
I do agree with people taking the responsibility to monitor themselves and not excessively bump, or start new threads for things that have their own, consolidated Trade/Sell threads, like the GB items. The reason those threads were created was to eliminate so many individual GB items clogging up the front page. If you guys remember, the Flea Market posts greatly reduced after those pages of posts were consolidated. In Jennifer’s absence, I’ve seen a lot more of those threads come up and while it’s understandable that you want your piece to be more visible, there’s a reason those consolidated threads were created.
O_o
You guys know you can mark all the forum topics as “Read” right? Then the next time you come to the Flea Market page there won’t be as many new/updated topics. When people follow the forum rules and don’t excessively bump their threads, there’s really only about 1 new page of posts per week. A lot of us check the forum every day. I usually see about 5-6 topics that are new, or have new comments, per day. It’s pretty manageable. 🙂
Aw, I’ll squeak for a production SK. Even the production price is still out of my reach for now, but I WILL have a SK someday. 🙂
I’ve been on the forum all day… how did I miss this? T_T
Would have killed for Taryn.

The photos remind me of my Blazer that I finally had to get rid of this year. I LOVED THAT CAR. I love Chevys. Runs in the blood. 😉 If you end up with it you’re gonna love it!
But keep in mind, in Chevy’s grand scheme to make a profit, they made more than one, so if this doesn’t work out there’s always another Avalanche. 🙂 I hope you get this one though!

Thawed-out Squirrelcicle…. [barf]
I don’t collect Poads, or the Young Poads, BUT the Sugarplum Adults almost tempted me when they came out because that color is so pretty! I think a Sugarplum Young might put me over the top and I’d just have to get one 😉
I like the silver eyes on the Silver Mother Peg too. 🙂 It’s monochromatic but the silver is so gorgeous and so spot-on that it works perfectly, IMO. Limited color palettes can be lovely <3 I adore the lighter fade of color on their bellies, on the silver and red versions. Something about that little extra touch just brings them to life in a whole new way. Genius!
XD
Had to clean a putrefied mouse corpse out of a wasp trap when I was about 15. First nervous breakdown!
I have a Ruby Fledgling with a crooked wing whose name is Roob. No other names have come to me though!
