Oh I just love her stuff!! I do have to say, I’m not super crazy about the white production stuff. But the natural brown rustic looking stuff I LOVE!! I would have to be careful if she offers them for sale!! My family would start asking why I have sculptures of fat naked women all over the place!!

I wonder if they’ll ever catch on as to why I don’t have a single cross in my house, but I wear a goddess pendant….

Have you ever tried straight, plain, pure shea butter? My hubby gets excema and uses it. It helps him alot, plus if he gets something on his face he doesn;t have to worry about getting hydracorison(sp?) in his eyes…

Personally, tho it may be too late, I would choose something like #4, only with caramel highlites and a deep gold copper/red low lites. It’s too bad you can’t grow out your hair just a bit, like to chin length in the front, and then have it brought up in the back shorter. I love hair, can you tell?? I’m probably the only forum member that wear extensions! 🙄

in reply to: Ferret sculptures? #569826

I used to have 2 ferrets, many years ago. They were so funny and so different. My male, Buster was really relaxed and sweet and huge! My female, Chloe, was hyper, stole my birkenstocks ALL the time and hated me.

sadly, we lost Buster when he was 3 after having adrenal tumor surgery. Then we lost Chloe when she was 8 to adrenal tumors. We had her put to sleep, she was an aweful mess at the end, poor thing! Tho the vet said she had never seen an 8 year old ferret!

We enjoyed them as pets. But due to the fact that most of the ferrets on the east coast at that time came from a certain ‘farm’ and had huge health issues due to poor breeding, we didnt get anymore.

Glad I stuck with him, he is finished. I ended up adding some more coats of white metallic, Liquitex medium viscosity by the way, love it! I then took some very thinned down golden brand silver to do the shading on the body and tail scales. Added another coating of blue shading on the wings, and voila!

in reply to: Commission prices #569562

Since my stellar auction, I’ve gotten some inquiries for doing commissions. I read thru the sticky and was curious if those prices are still reflective of what you guys are charging. Are there still many of you out there doing commissions? Just curious…

Oh yes, I got some of that too, but not for this dragon. I’m gonna have to play around until I get to like the look of him…I’m glad you guys like him tho!

Kioshi, was it you who used the pearl ex pigment powders?? This is what I used in silver and am really unhappy with the outcome. I have used a bunch of others and they all apply perfectly smooth and give excellent coverage…Maybe I should just used silver paint.
