I was like “Ahh! stop! show that one again” all time 🙂
anyhow, I definitly want a book 🙂and people called for dragons and so here they be… or here he be. Singular 😉
Acrylic on A3 (double US lettersize) canvas. Not yet finished, but close to finished. For Eurofurence.
thanks for the comments 🙂
not with Dvds, but with pens.
I found the secret however.
Dont look for it, grasp that thought firmly, walk backwards and approach it slowly while you are not looking for it and GRAB!nice to have you back again!
I was starting to wonder where you were, and I was just about to ask you/contact you via deviantart 🙂 and nice works! love em!
hope you are better again 🙂thanks 🙂
I took the chance to take pictures too of Verzasca. For people who know our appartment, these images are all balancing in the kitchen atop the printer on the modem (!!! made my boy scream) where the light hits the wall best.
Still, picturing canvas = horrrreur@basil: shel fits comfy into the biggest dragons mouth. Will make pic tomorrow of that 🙂
anyhow, I worked some more on my Horrorfurence Eurofurence submission. I admit, some of the hotels windows are not following a logic of science gravity and perspective law. They will be fixed.Acrylics on A3 (double lettersize) board.
thanx all! pastell pencils are cool, however not really good for mass drawing. You should try real dry pastells, they dont mess as much as others. These that I use are water soluable crayons, with execption for the fingers they are not at all messy.
Anyhow, here’s some heads:
thanks all!
@Basil: yeah, its annoying. I’m trying to get the hang of it, but basically it really isnt better.
hmm, if you wanna see the images IRL you can tell me if you got a day to pass by before I go to Eurofurence (end august)I’m currently trying to pimp my sales folder for Eurofurence (and getting a rest of my normal scedule) and for this dug out my watersoluable crayons. I wanted to throw them because they bind an annoying artistic memory, but eventually felt sorry and decided to use them for a change of medium.
They are pretty nasty to control (crayons with no real tips, coming only in 10 colors of which only 6 are reasonable) but thats the pun on them. However, doing things like pupils is nasty as the crayons circumferences is as big as the whole eye. They are all on brown paper, size A3 (which is double letter size? anything smaller with these is suicide). I had much fun and felt like back in primary school again. My uncle used to be very artistic with oilcrayons. Anyhow, they are more vibrant IRL, these are crappy digital pictures.anyhow, here goez:
and last but not least, a sneak peak of my other acrylic work in process, a contest contribution for Eurofurences “Horrorfurence”-themed Con-Book cover, the lower half of it that is:

My Buell is doing great, and when it’s fine, I’m fine. My new Termignoni exhaust finally reached the mechanic’s, so that’ll be mounted in two weeks. I’ll post up some new pics when that happens. 😀
OoOOooOOOOoOOOooooohhh!
must do eyeball visit soon again!
I love the shelves for the poads 🙂thank you all 🙂
I am close to finnishing Verzasca, you can see it on ( the newly crappy re-designed *grrr*) Deviantart here:
http://akeyla.deviantart.com/art/Verzasca-WIP-2-91342742colors are impossible to control on photography and photoshop. I guarantee that the original is much, much more vibrant. I just had a total bitch-fest over it with my cam and laptop. I need my morning coffee
yes! that is my kitchen! after I cleaned it, that is 😉
here’s more on tghe tiger 🙂
thanks!
as for the size, hmm… 50cm x 20 cm, about double lettersize if added on top.
here’s the other one, he’s poster sized (40cm X 70 cm)
thanks Basil!
here’s flat stuff for a change. Sorry for my huge artspam, its ConSeason and I am arting like a maniac.
acrylic on canvas.
cool feetsies detail:
Eurofurence. I attend Eurofurence every year since 2004 (this is my fifth).
Eurofurence is a furry convention. Despite not being a furry I like the Con very much, the staff is very friendly and many of my good artists friends are there too. Eurofurence has grown from something small to a really awesome and professional Convention. I contribute to the artshow each year (with exception last year) and I give sculpting tutorials. For the past 3 years Kdog and I also had a table in the Dealers Den, where I sold handbound books, prints, artworks, sculptures and commissions (very bone hard work in the Dealers Den).
I also attend Mephit Mini Con in Germany, which is basically the same as Eurofurence, only much smaller (Eurofurence 800 members, Mephit Mini Con 300).Other conventions I attended art only (mail in) were: Further Confusion, ANthroCon and DragonCon.
I like Conventions. Its not just a change to the normal daily school life here but also meeting many new people. And most of all it means a lot to me because I have to stand up for my art, plan it, merchandise it. Not to sound greedy, but I love the money too – for the sole fact that I earn something from my own learning and that it is of a subject that my locals dislike (if you recall my fantasy art thread).
I usually only attend Conventions where I know atleast one person very well. Or which lay within my range of traveling hours.
