My (small but growing) Windstone Collection
I first discovered Windstone as a college student, over ten years ago now. Found them browsing the web somehow. A friend and I were reading Mercedes Lackey’s Gryphon books, and she was nuts over Skandranon. So I got her the black griffin as a gift. Didn’t get any for myself until some time after I graduated, paid off my loans, and had money.
Melody’s dragons are the most beautiful anywhere, and I find myself drooling fairly often–but I’m just not a dragon person at all. Winged wolves and griffins–those are more my thing. I’m very excited about the different color families of griffins coming out, like she did with the dragons.
Let’s see if I can figure out this BBCode…
I love the PYO’s! Such a wonderful idea 😀 The Unicorn was painted by purplecat, the Ki-Rin by Asinnamon, and Xerxes Griffin by Greater Basilisk. And it’s probably better for my wallet that I’ve been too slow at snagging a few others. 😉
