Thanks. I know I am posting the price higher on the wolf but I kinda got burned on other paint commissions via ebay (not that I don’t like the added experience) but I had to start higher now. If it sells, awesome, if not…then I have myself a winged wolf to paint for me anyways. I just take wolves very seriously and know I will be spending several days on a paint job for these.
Looks like you got one anyways. I couldn’t manage to get the sculpture at the store…was too late. I think they still have an owl sconce but other than that…sorry.
Just plugging my auctions. I have three currently, a retired griffin candlelamp, a wolf head sconce, and a custom commission for a winged wolf PYO.
http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZwatergazerwolfQQhtZ-1I might be able to get the hyena gargoyle but I need to check that out and see if it’s still at the place I last saw it.
Thanks for all your comments! Both customs are memorials for two different owners. when I originally posted the flap cat repaint auction that Ski won, someone else who was bidding wanted it as well as bought be a flap cat to repaint for her own kitty. They were very fun to do! I will say that I hope the PYO flap cats that I just know Melody will eventually make will also have closed eyes. It makes for easier painting but also nobody has to match eye colors.
Ski= Yes, you can send me your mom’s address and I’ll ship direct to her. I might be able to ship it out tomorrow…if the finish doesn’t dry enough by then though it’ll have to wait until Monday since I’ll be at a convention starting Friday.
Here’s a commission I worked on as a pet memorial. It’s a little calico tortie repaint of a standard Windstone Editions Flap Cat. I hope I did it justice based on the photo I got.

I will say that although the smaller size of the flap cat might seem faster to paint, it’s not as easy as it looks since I had to go in to do fine details with a smaller brush to make it look decent. These are also the ones I coated in white primer before beginning to paint. I used metallics on the wings.
