Congrats on the Oriental Rusti!
That is the last color I need for my collection, but I’m still broke right now. If you see anymore come up though, please keep me in mind.

I thought the winged wolf had blue eyes (as in cobalt blue)? Am I missing something?

The outstretched wing is made out of pewter so it can have all the detail but be thin too.

Since I have been going through my collection to thin it out, I’m more keen about what things cost. It is quite amazing what a few Windstones will set us back. And I’m with you, we need to win the lottery or inherit from a rich relative – or marry into money. Then again that might be more work than it’s worth. 😆

It’s odd to think that we are looking at $500-600 worth of curls there. Oh why couldn’t I collect something that is cheap! (Champagne tastes on a beer budget.) 😆
I haven’t had this happen to me, but I’m not surprised they are doing it. I have received more phishing e-mails for PayPal in the last month than last year alone. They probably assume you won’t respond to a legit e-mail so now they call.
It is odd that they seem to be inconsistent about the transactions they call about. It might be just a check-up policy to get people to update contact information. At least they are being proactive.
Thank you everyone for posting. I guess it’s nothing to worry about. After I heard about the quality of it I didn’t want to go.
DM, I can understand that you need some time away to deal with everything going on. I only ask that you do come back to us and post again when you feel it is a better time. I believe that most of the comments that you were referring to were in good humor and teasing and nothing was meant by it. I can only speak for myself, but I like having you here. Please reconsider your decision when things have settled down a little. We are here for you. *hugs*

Hey Guys! I’m going to start thinning out my collection to get some money for the holidays.
I have a Gold Lap Dragon (batch 2) and the Castle of the Merry Ghost. Both are mint with plastic bag and boxes. The Lap dragon has its tag and certificate, but the castle doesn’t have a tag. I can’t remember if it came with one, but I don’t think so. 😕
Since both of these are available from the store I will be offering a $50 break on each. Asking prices are for the pieces alone and don’t include shipping or insurance. I will ship internationally to any forum member as long as they use the PM system (not e-mail). I will be accepting offers through Saturday Sept. 29 at noon pacific time. I reserve the right to take these to e-bay if I don’t receive acceptable offers.

My friend just saw Dragon Wars (B movie) and said that there was a good dragon at the end that looked exactly like the Windstone Oriental Dragon. I haven’t seen the movie and I can’t find any movie stills of it. My friend is not a collector I don’t know how close it is or not. Also, they said that in the credits there was an Elizabeth Pena. I didn’t know if that was any relation.
Anybody know anything?
