Yeah my shelves are more rectangular, but I think what holds them up sound a lot like yours…although I’m not sure if they are rubber. Might be. But the glass looks to be as thick as yours are. So I’m guessing it will be safe for a few on one shelf like yours are. Nice display by the way!!
Thanks! My shelves are actually the end piece to a 3 piece set of a entertainment console. (I only bought the one pair of shelves). They are made to hold like VCRs and DVD players, etc.
Your unit probably is safe. One way you can test it is if you have a couple of 1-2 lb bags of rice or beans from the store and put them on there to see if the glass sags at all (like Dave mentioned). Even if the glass will hold you need to make sure the glass holders/bracket will as well.
Very pretty. It looks like you did a lot of work on him.
It depends on a lot of factors like many have said. I have glass shelves (see below).
They are tempered glass and relatively square. I didn’t feel comfortable putting my large wizard with dragons on the same shelf, but several males and females didn’t seem to hurt.
It will also depend on if you have more rectangular shelves and how they are held in place. Mine are supported from underneath by rubber stoppers, but if yours are held in place with pins that hold the glass on the edge then I would recommend less weight.
Also, the earthquake putty DM recommended works well, especially for smaller Windstones that have a tendency to get knocked over when dusting. Just don’t use the clear gel – it can be messy.
If you need links to order it on the internet, let me know.
I’m sorry to hear about the accident, but I hope you’re ok, at least physically. Just take it one day at a time and hopefully solutions will present themselves.
Take care DM.

Nice collection mmloda.
Your collection has really grown since joining the forum hasn’t it? You have all them displayed really nicely. I didn’t know the tiles from Cafe press store were such high quality. As soon as they get in some unicorn things in *cough-nam-cough* I’ll be trottling over there to shop.
Congrats! Have you been thinking about names yet?

The Rainbow Scratchers have already been released??
I’m so sorry to see this! Ack!

I have included a pic with a arrow pointing to it. Also, there is a price sticker on the backside of the tag. It could probably be easily removed, but I will leave that to the new owner.

This exact thing happened to many holders of the Capital One cards about a year ago. I opted out like you said you could and it’s been great. It forces me not to use the card and I still retained the low percentage for my balance that will take awhile to pay off. In the Capital One situation, if ANY transaction went through I would end up paying the higher rate. Also, once the balance is payed off (and I don’t notify them that I accept the new rate) my account will be automatically closed. Too bad, they lost a life-long client. I really liked them until then.
As to the “state of the economy…” it’s something that everyone should be taking a close look at. Most banks now are even limiting how much cash you can withdraw at one time and for any type of wire transfers. There are some on the internet who say that we will be seeing things get worse come summer, but who can really say? Just keep a heads up.
Last Bump.

*Shamless bump.* I have lowered some prices. Make offers if you want. I don’t mind haggling.
