Those are both interesting theories. Either lurkers or hopefuls. Probably a little of both. They’d probably all be better off if they waited for a little bit instead of flooding the market. Oh well. That’s better for us!
😉Isn’t it weird how things go in streaks on Ebay? I don’t recall seeing any Flions on Ebay in several months, and now there’s been four or five in just a couple of weeks. I wonder why that happens?
Good luck and good selling! Have a great time! Hope you sell enough to pay your utilities for the next year. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Zelda did a wonderful job, especially on the gothic unicorn. You have to look extremely hard and be pretty close to find the repairs.
I am so happy with these!
😀 😀 😀
I’m not a painter so I prefer my Windstones fully finished.
Although it’s not so bad having a PYO when there are so many beautiful ones that become available here.
I guess I should apologize. I didn’t mean to sound like I was complaining. I really love my Violet Flame fledge. I was just noting how my fledge looked compared to what was being discussed. I really do like the way she looks.
I have to say that I like the 3-4 colors blended because Peacock is my all time favorite. I also really like the Violet Flame.
However, now that Peacock is retired, I my favorite dragon color has to be the Black Gold. I love the contrast between the black and the accent colors.
I always worry that I paid too much. Almost always. Especially when I buy a retired piece that I could have bought for less when it first came out. It’s the only thing that I don’t like about Windstones. From now on, if they put something out and I even think I might want it, I am going to try and buy it.

She got her VF fledge today, and hers looks like everybody else’s. Except that hers has several, at least half a dozen, spots of very sloppy blue antiquing. And it really shows. Do any other fledges have that? The blue is under the wongs, along the back, has a faint smudge down the chest… etc.Mine has some bright blue splotches on her back and behind. The antiquing on her chest is also very heavy. Actually, her antiquing is pretty heavy all over. I just figured that was the way she was supposed to look and you just couldn’t see it in the pics.
Production! Production! Production! (white and black, I hope)
Just got her in yesterday! Wonderful job. She is gorgeous and perfect! Thank you!
That particular seller has a really hard time selling his/her pieces. I’ve seen several of them go completely through the auction without a single bid.
He/she has a new profile which generally makes people leery. Also, if you read the profile or some of the auctions, he/she used to sell under another name. That always raises a red flag for me.
I don’t think that it’s fake piece or anything, the seller is just having a hard time and is having to lower the price on the pieces.
“A plague o’ both your houses”
I love Mercutio.
I was actually looking at that piece. I never actually bid because the price went over what I was willing to pay.
I would say the piece was definately misrepresented. Between the paint rubs, the dust, and the chips on the bottom there is no way that piece should be considered mint. Mint is exactly that: Mint. No rubs, chips, or any other damage.
I would say that I would have paid no more then $150 for it. (And probably less.)
Hope you can get some of your money back.
Actually, the series was called exactly that. “Choose your own adventure.” There was also another series based on D&D that had the same concept. That series is actually how I started reading fantasy.
I also remember a series about unicorns that started with a book called “The Firebringer.” I can’t remember the author though.
