I used to give blood. I canβt give blood to the general population anymore because Iβm in the military. (Itβs all the vaccines) I am really afraid of needles, but when you consider that you will be saving peopleβs lives, I think that itβs worth facing your fears.
I found the best thing to do is just not look. Try to bring a book or a music or something to distract you. Hey bring a stuffed animal if it will help you out!!
The more you can relax when the needle goes in, the less it hurts. I always felt really good after I did it. Itβs doubly good because you face your fears while helping people.
I was looking for a white mouse, but a emerald mouse would be nice as well, although I know someone else is looking for one of those too. Thanks everyone for your help!
SilverArrow wrote:You might want to contact Eric (ultdragonian at yahoo.com). He has quite a few pieces left including Flapcats, Flions, and Wizards. He might have the mouse and cat wizards. He may take awhile to get back to you and his prices are high, but all the items I have gotten from him are factory mint, usually with boxes and tags and he packs bomb proof.
Good Luck in your search!
Thanks for your help!
I was wondering if anyone had a white mouse wizard or a emerald cat wizard they were interested in selling. I know they are still available in the peacock color but I prefer other colors for the wizards. If anyone has one available, please let me know.
He just doesnβt look quite right. The shape is off (especially the head) and the coloring is off. The coloring could just be the picture but the shape shouldnβt be off like that.
I want that black-gold empress in the gold egg! Drool.
Zelda wrote:So sorry to see your poor wizard! I just fixed up one of these old fellas with almost EXACTLY the same damage! If the factory canβt send you any paint, I can make recommendations on which brand and color I used to match up. Unfortunately Iβll be away from my supplies for another week, so youβll have to wait. But best of luck on fixing this fella up, goodness knows these old pieces deserve it!
I can vouch that Zelda has the exact right colors. I bought that wizard and you can hardly tell where the corrections were made. The paint matchs perfectly.
I like #1, #3, and #4. I voted for #4 because I love the silver and white. It reminds me of winter and snow, which I miss. #3 interests me because it almost looks like the base color is grey, and I like the markings. I call #1 the parrot Poad. Thereβs just too many Poads to choose from!
PMβd you. You said my favorite word. I am always interested in sales!
I have some familiarity on this subject because of my Navy experience. Customs will not charge you a fee on items purchased overseas unless itβs one of two things:
1. Over the specified amount
2. Tariff itemsThe specified amount is pretty high (like over $500) so itβs pretty hard to go over. Tariff items will always be charged for trade reasons. Your books shouldnβt be covered by either of these instances.
Obviously you canβt bring in things that are banned for diplomatic reasons (Cuban cigars and Iranian saffron spring to mind) but again, your books shouldnβt fall in that category.
No worries. I am glad you donβt have to sell them!
Hope everything works out.
I was one of the people who mentioned them in a thread. I had great service from them and it was cheaper. At the time they had the stock in the store. Maybe they had so many orders they ran out.
PMβd you. Sorry you have to sell your peacocks.
As with many others, I really donβt like the color around the mouth. The rest of it is very nice.
PMβd you
