The name of this topic should have been “Don’t Read While Eating!”. 😆
Ya learn something new every day, though….
I like “It’s Me or the Dog” and “Divine Canine”. It’s great to see people getting help instead of giving the dogs up, esp. since they “trained” the dogs to misbehave.
I really like “It’s Me or the Dog.” I find the lady really funny as sometimes I think she dresses like a dominatrix. That’s where I learned to speak to my dog in a lower register and some other things that have made my life easier.
I’m not a real big fan of “Dog Whisperer” though.

I notice you have a tattoo and in a very tender location! How did you handle that? Was it a completely different experience than having blood drawn (besides the obvious)? I just wonder because I have 8 tattoos, but hate to have blood drawn. I have crappy veins and you know the rest…. One time I had to have 10 vials drawn and changing the vial was the worst:-/ I’m always ready for another tattoo, though. Weird. 😕
Edited to say I just read the other thread…13! tats. I guess you share my weirdness. 😆
It’s weird how that works. I am just the opposite way. I have no problem getting shots and blood drawn, but even thinking about getting a tattoo done makes me break out in a cold sweat. And the needles don’t even go in as far!
I guess fear doesn’t care about logic at all.
Papercut, I’m sorry to hear about the tumor, I hope the medicine works and you feel better soon!
Happy Holidays to everyone! Best wishes and luck in the coming year!

I got a emerald cat wizard in perfect condition. That was a real Ebay find as I got it for $250! I couldn’t believe it. I was trying to get one from ultdragon and he wanted $400 or $500 for it.
I also got a Ruby lap and Male Ki-rin from SPark. They look wonderful and arrived in perfect condition.
Finally I had a hatching protoceratops. Not quite as thrilled about that one because it looks like it was in a smoking household as the shell is pretty dark. Still, I got it in conjunction with a old green hatcher and they were only like $30 combined.
All in all a great homecoming!
Congrats on the great homecoming! If you ever get tired of teh Emerald Cat Wizard, let me know. It’s the only Wizard piece I’m still missing. I remember that auction. I wasn’t there at the end to keep fighting you for it. Glad it went to someone here.
Well, I don’t know how much you are willing to pay, but ultdragon@yahoo.com may still have the emerald cat wizard he was trying to sell to me. He was asking $400 for it though. That was too rich for me!! Also, someone is selling one at Ebay. Here is the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/Windstone-Editions-Emerald-Cat-Wizard-Mint-Retired_W0QQitemZ270180792250QQihZ017QQcategoryZ35873QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Like I said, they were too expensive for me, and I think you could probably get one cheaper, but if you really want one, those are two options.
Good Luck!
Congrats WolfLodge and Wolfenmachine!
Greater Basilisk wrote:How about pics, RiDuvessa? (I know they were posted elsewhere, but every picture turns out new aspects on a Windstone.)
In a couple of days, I should have a digital camera (crosses fingers). Once that happens, I will figure out how to post and I will put up pictures of all the PYO wolves I have. (I have four) So not to worry, they will be up soon.
eaglefeather831 wrote:As many of you know-I have two dogs: Karly (the oldest, and a mutt) and Keely( the youngest and an american bulldog).
Karly eats Keely’s poop!! It is absolutely disgusting, and I need some advice as to how to stop her from eating it. I know she doesn’t eat her own poop because the backyard is littered with her own and not Keely’s.
I have read to put pineapple in their food, but how much and does it need to be fresh?
Fortunately, Keely doesn’t follow that bad habit!
Pineapple does make the poop taste really bad. I used fresh and it only takes a couple of pieces in each meal for a few days. Then the other dog will get the point. It’s also cheaper then those powders and stuff you can get.
I like it! Good Luck!

Ravenwood looks great. I love the very dark look that she has. The wings almost look like camouflage for the forest.
Autumn Fire is spectacular! I love the green interference and the tiger stripes on the back of his head. It looks far better in person then it did on the web.
Thanks for the chance to own these two.
Any idea when Spring might be ready?

The movie was great and I think it’s just another fantasy movie, a well put together one I might add. It’s possible (although i would like to read the sequels before entirely committing to this)….It’s possible that people are discriminating this book just due to the author’s religious preferences. Now off to read the books in depth to confirm…. 🙂
Haven’t seen the movie yet, but the books are very anti-religious. Specifically anti-Catholic, but anti-religious in general. As blatant about it as the Narnia Chronicles are about being pro-Christian. it was one of the first things I noticed when I read them. There is not bias against the author because of his religion. Atheism is almost the point of the books.
Some of the things I saw in the news indicated that author was actually extremely peeved that that aspect of the book was watered down for the movies.
I personally don’t have a problem with the books, but I could see why some people would, and they would have a legitimate complaint.

Wow! He was gorgeous!
That was right when I started posting on the forum. Probably why I missed him.
You already did winter? 😕 I don’t remember that.
Shoot. I was hoping to get the whole series. 🙁
Oh well. I will just look forward to Spring! 8)

I do snipe, BECAUSE I don’t have huge funds to throw at a piece and want to catch a good deal if I can. I’ve never been fortunate enough to bid on the special edition pieces, but I can tell you that if I actually felt I had half a chance of getting one, I’d wait til the last minute and snipe it…not out of rudeness or meanness…but because I want to pay the lowest price possible and I don’t want to “bid it up” and make the price higher than it needs to be. 😕
I agree with Purple. I don’t have the funds to get in a bidding war with someone. When I see an Ebay auction, I figure out exactly how much I can spend and then put in my bid at the end. If an auction goes over my limit then I don’t even bid on it. If I got into bidding wars I’d end up spending way too much money. It’s nothing personal. Most of the time I don’t even check the bidding history. I just check the rating and the comments for the seller.

Foxfeather Sam looks almost exactly like my girl Void (aka Stinky and Baby dog.) They are almost identical right down to the white patch on the chest. I’ve seen several dogs like them. I always thought that Void was a mix of Lab and Greyhound or Whippet because she’s very flexible and fast. Is that similar to Sam?
