Thank you:)
Oh Maine Coons are beautiful cats as well:) I had considered them when we was looking for our first, but they are hard to find here.
Then I found out Ragdolls are like Windstones, you can’t have just one:)If your interested here are a few pictures of Thunder Boy when he was just a kitten, you can see how the color has developed over time.

I lived in Alabama and Cali, and a few other southern states, so I never got to see the magpies. So when I saw the huge magpies here I was overjoyed. We have a pair that has a nest close to our house here and they come to the yard a lot. To see the young ones this summer was wonderful:) Ive tried to get some photos of them and every time I do they look straight at me before I have the camera set and then take off 😛
I want to get some good photos to use as a reference for painting.I’m still determined to get some photos of them:)
I’m sure you’ll get some good photos sooner or later. That will be a nice one to paint. I love birds, and am always trying to spot different species when I go on trips to different places. I was excited when I saw the Magpies for the first time. I knew exactly what they were from seeing them in my bird books. I wish my brother would have taken some pictures of them during our trip, but he’s more into landscapes. Oh well. 🙄
Yea I will keep trying:) Well photographers are stubborn when they want to take certain pictures:)
I love landscapes but I don’t seem to have the gift fot them 🙂I agree the black and white together is so striking. I had never seen one in person till I moved here. I like your nickname. I’ve never seen a Raven until I went to Wyoming. I just came back from there this past weekend. They are very big birds! My brother-in-law is a photographer, and took this pic of two ravens sitting at the top of an old tree near the Snake River in Jackson, WY.

Anyway, welcome to the forums! Your collection will get bigger in no time! 😀
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!:)
Ravens are large birds and very amazing as well. When I came to Finland I got to see the Magpie, they are the black and white and some are gray and white. They are very smart and since I have been here I still have not been able to get a close up photo of any, thats been almost 5 years now 😆
Thats a great photo he captured!:)
My husband is also worried about my collection growing as well, hehehe:)
Ok, back from the dentist and I have the images together as well as some info about them as well:)
Here is the basic info about the breed, http://www.ragdollcatguide.com/faqs.html
They are a very unique breed and quickly becoming one of the most popular breeds. Already in Finland the are the most popular breed here. When the kittens are born they are solid white and develop their colors over the first years. The name comes from the fact that many ragdoll cats will go ‘limp’ when you pick them up.
Here is our first girl Lady Grace. She is a Blue Bicolor, We adopted her as a retired breeder/show cat. She was 5 when we got her, she is now completely happy in her retirement home:) She fully lives up to her name, she is always a lady and sometimes I think she is Cleopatra reincarnated as a cat:)

http://www.ravnheart.com/photo/Grace-5.jpgThis is Thunder, he is a Blue Mitted (named for the white colorings on the paws and chin, it looks like they have mittens on). His name comes from how loud he purrs:) He is a very sweet but also shy to new people. He was our second baby (adopted as a kitten), and our trouble maker:)

We was lucky enough to get her after she had to be fixed and could no longer have kittens. She is our little magpie as she loves to pick small items up and runs off with them to hide them. They will usually show up a month or so later:) She also loves to “talk” she is our little squeak toy, you touch her and she squeaks:)

Colorpoint, mitted and bicolor patterns in seal, chocolate, blue and lilac. Also available on a very limited basis are flamepoints, creampoints, torties, lynxpoints, whites and minks.Hope this isn’t too much information:)
I wanted to thank you for your time and consideration on this.
Also I want to thank you for sharing your beautiful creations with the rest of the world:)Thank you so very much:) I have more work I will be adding as soon as I am allowed to post them. They are commission works for Nightwish, a Finnish band.
Plus more I am working on and more photos to add as well:)I am seriously thinking about painting some of the PYO. I used to paint ceramics for a living several years ago. Though getting the paints sent here might be a problem. Also I heard about a larger PYO dragon thats coming. Does anyone have a link to images of it yet?
