How about purple eyes (not lavender but darker)? I think that would look cool!
That would work; even a dark green or a dark amber would work– I’m just not wild about red (to me bloodshot, or irritated) eyes.

thank you for your comments about the journey stones. I want you to know that you are the very first person to start communicating about my work on this forum.
Thank you for that.
If you feel like it, I would be interested in knowing if the particular figurine you got has had an influence on your journey. Not that I believe the little sculpture would “do” anything but I do know that as we are inviting an intent into our space things start to unfold.
Blessings on your journey

Hello Ms Hill!
You are most welcome; your work is lovely and touches a very real chord in both myself and my partner.
My first stone is ‘healing’, from the pods. My long term injury has had a recent turn to the worse, and I’ve been dealing with that, needing something to concetrate on when there is a bad day. For some reason, the pod caught my attention.
I hold her while doing relaxing exercises, and when I have insomnia, and as I’ve said, just the event of holding and tracing the curves is relaxing. It has made a difference, and I’m always carrying her about with me.
I chose two new ones to come home, and will be happy to let you know how they ‘fit in’ when they arrive; the synergy pod especially interests me– for some reason the image I saw reminded me of the whirl of a galaxy. π
Thank you again for them!
–AnneI’d really like the OW in the gold that is up now — I read that it is a lot lighter than photographed, but I think the old, battlescarred warrior should be more deeper darker gold, almost bronzy rather than newly minted bright gold. Fits his character more to be antiqued darker.
But then again, I hate the red eyes too… I’d love a deep, dark bronzy gold with rich blue eyes. π

Hi!
I’m not Emerald, but just ordered the other day– the pods are sold separately, and are 14 dollars each. π

Yep, they are cute– and the perfect size to carry about with you. ANd if you are intomeditation, they’re the PERFECT size to just fit into your hand so you can trace the curves with a fingertip as a focus.
I’m sorry for going on and on about them, but I’d not given them a second glance for so long, bought one on a whim, and now I want others to know how they’re so darn unique and wonderful!

Yeah, I know, 99.99% of the posts here are about the other part of windstone, but I figured this was a good place to ask a Journeystone question too. π
Melody? WIll the journeystone pods ever be released in another color other than the creamy white? I just got my first (Healing) and LOVE the organic feel of the curves; I spend more time HOLDING the darn thing that putting it on a shelf, and the tiny size is perfect for that!
I’m about to buy another… and prolly another… they’re so darn NEAT, but I’d love one in a steely grey… or a soft chocolate… or an onyx… or even better, a deep blue.
Any hope that might happen? And please, tell the artist I ADORE her work, and that I think I now need to now save up to get the larger pieces to place all over my home.

I think there is a problem with your email address. I keep getting bounced PM notices. And I can’t mail to your address.
Because I am an airhead, and never updated my email address to the gmail one after I moved… I fixed it and sent you a PM… sorry about that ::sighs at self::
I really wonder where my brain goes some weeks π

very lovely, very touchable… and now I really really NEED one of the larger candlelamps, (the Sisterhood one, actually) so I’m trying to wedge it into the budget; I can SEE it on the niche in the living room, I can.
yep, I had to have more of them; just got another pod (I needed synergy to go with healing, after all -g-) and one of the ones that come in black.
They just call out for you to hold and trace the curves with your fingertips, they do. π
Thanks for the answer!

Congrats on getting your dragon! π

Sorry if its already been asked. I have still got to get my bunch of curlies, they are fab! π I was thinking we would do the curlies in batches,in all the colors we make. Do you want rainbows next?
heeheehee — how about a black and tan one… or OOOOOO the old brown! I’d KILL for one of those, really I would!
Barrdwing wrote:More Poads = Happy Thought! π I’ll look forward to that. Meanwhile my solitary poad looks so sweet and benevolent on her shelf . . . I’m sure she’s plotting some sort of mischief. π
I used to own an amazon parrot who would get in the EXACT strrrretched neck pose my poad is in, lifting his head to peer at me the exact same ‘oh, I’m oh so cute and INNOCENT’ way RIGHT before he’d race over, grab something and run off, laughing to himself for having completed his dastardly plot.
He’d then destroy, or eat that which he’d just stolen, all the while, continuing to mutter “hahahahaha” in his evil parrotic glee.
I think that’s why I love poads– they have that same ‘I’m soon to be very wicked’ gleam in their wee poady eyes.
May I request the Astral Griff family in a large mug selection– and a travel mug, if they have one?
I… kinda really drink a LOT of coffee π
Hi-
It just arrived, and it is LOVELY! The black allows you to see all the details that get a bit hidden in the red of my russet curl, and the blue eyes are startling in the dark face framed with the incredible purple of the forehead and the golden accents.
I’ll try to get a few pictures in a bit.
Oh and it came with something amusing, but I’m not ruining the surprise for the rest of you. It made me giggle for a bit. π
EDIT: here are two images…
littleironhorse wrote:Okay… Keep in mind that I LOVE Melody and all her work and the same goes for Nambroth.
But just to play the devil’s advocate here…
Doesn’t having Nam paint production pieces promote the same sort of confusion? And isn’t it a little bit contradictory to say “we don’t encourage this” and then have Nam do exactly that?
Not that I’m complaining here, like I said earlier, I’m all for it.
Not sure, not being a lawyer, but since she is doing it under the auspices of Windstone, FOR windstone, it is the same as if Melody was painting a test piece, or a special offer piece. But I might be wrong π
