*shrug* Can do digital for $25 on printable resolution, premium quality. I’ve done logos before, but I don’t have a vector program.
😯 *drool* Man, I wouldn’t mind this one being in our PYO trade. But I guess you need the money. Absolutely gorgeous Koishii, keep up the awsome work!(btw what does “ooak” mean?)

Awsome. I can’t stand things not matching yet I want the mother really badly, and being sometime means I can save up again X3 Thanks a ton. I can’t stop glancing over and admiring my fish guardian (though the betta gets jealous and flares up at him whenever I move him XD)

Lol, ironically all it took was stealing a black painted board and a black covered sketchbook in my mom’s insanely well lit studio and keeping a steady hand with tons of trial and error. It’s tricky to center with little to no white table showing in the photo or else a horrible glare occurs.
How large is the resolution of your photos Koishii? Some contrast and color editing in PS when it’s a really big file really helps before sizing down.
Because you told me to Koishii XD I wasn’t sure where to post this since it was in celebration of getting my first griffin, but it’s mostly focused on the the photographs rather than showing off…which I learned using my mom’s priceless camera would have been better.
Any websites wanting to use these images can as long as you ask for my permission.

Yes I’m too lazy to post all those urls to the images in proper order again @.@

That way if we are trying to find pics of Ski’s spectral (for example), we don’t have to try to remember what page of which “show your collection” thread it was. Just a thought.
Aye to that. Better than the extra forum idea 🙂

That sneaky squirt >> Having a large screen makes a disadvantage in getting a close up in pics.

For those who guessed 59, do you see the crouching griffin chick behind the gothic unicorn and in front of the pearl female griffin? The picture is a bit confusing on purpose to make it more fun.
heheheHuh? I spotted the crouching griffon, and recounted plenty to get 14 on the first shelf, 20 on the second, and 25 on the third. Where did I miss one? 😯
59 including the card holders, lol, but I can’t participate, I only have one XD

Yeah most of the hours spent on this guy is just trying to reach inside all the hard spots to get a basic coat overtop. Even if it’s a thin one a base coat is good to start with on anything (especially canvases).
Greater Basilisk wrote:It’s looking good. I’m not sure I’d do anything to the body, unless you want to shade the red into the mint green… 😕 Naw, I’d leave it.
Thanks for the comment ^^ I was thinking perhaps gould would do into the pearl/jade but maybe he just needs a good antiquing.
WIP update: http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b4/6298/dragon_wip.png
A coat of metallics everywhere (save for the wings and claws) and captured in the sunset. Heavy critique is welcomed; hell I know the dragon’s ugly to start with, but it helps to make something worthwhile to state an opinion about 🙂
I should have done the first coat of shading before posting again, but the belly scales’ contrast with the body is disturbing me and I want to tackle it at the same time. Any suggestions of how to make it part of the body more?KoishiiKitty wrote:I use Winsor and Newton for all of my colors.
for metalics i use Sargent Art and Lumiere by Jacquard.
then I also use interference paints by Golden.
Lumiere’s are WONDERFUL! you can find them in the craft section of the art store since they are sold as fabric paints but they are normal acrylics and work great!
I start with a dark base(I have video of how i do this, loading it up right now). I don’t use thick paint, I usually thin it with water on my brush..and I use a LOT of layers of metallic. I will paint a layer of metallic, then use black to shade, rub the black paint into the crevasses, then I will very lightly brush over more metalics, like dry brush.
Thanks a lot ^^ I knew Golden was the major brand for iridescents and even though I scored on a bunch of metallic and iridescent paints of my mom’s, I still need a broader spectrum of colors. I see how the black the black shading makes the colors look very natural to the beast. Kudos on that <3
Normally I loathe pink with a passion, but damn that’s gorgeous. Can you spill on what brand of acrylics you use and how many different iredecents you layer on? I’m sorry if this forces you to repeat yourself, but I am pressed for time and can’t browse the forums today ^^;
