Nuke, could you remove my full name (the only one in iowa) and put eaglefeather831. I didn’t realize how stupid it was of me to put my full name on there. oops.
    Thankies!

Whoops, the page refreshes after I delete an icon and lost your spot (and totally didn’t see edit on the popup πŸ™„ ) but now you can post your proper name :3

Haha what fun. No one come and stalk me ok? Actually I only put it in the general area where I live, since I’m lazy.

Hint: If you are still only getting a grabby hand, double-click.

    Also: Sticky’d

    Thanks Nam! n__n

That was cool. I zoomed in right on our property. I missed it the first time though and was off by one street. Maybe you can fix mine too Nuke? πŸ™‚ The green icon is the right one.

So um Nuke 😳 if I put a new person on my actual house so I dont have to live the the tent people in the trees (I know some of you are laughing but its true here) could you take the one just named “Ruffian” away?

Hey look at that BroS is more north than me YA!! Umm except we are snowing again here WTH???

    Fixed!
If anyone else makes a mistake just post here in the forum and I’ll get to fixing it right away! Please let me know where your mistake is on the map as more and more members join and finding names gets difficult.

I messed up. I’m north and west of where I live, But I’m there. πŸ˜‰

Ok, I fixed where I live. Just wish I could get rid of the first one. πŸ™„

I took care of that for you πŸ˜‰

Whoopsie it’s fixed now. I was confused about this one check box about ‘select no to prevent others posting a pin’ but there wasn’t a yes or no, just one box, so I clicked it thinking it was yes

You have to click EXACTLY where you live instead now it wont use your IP address.

Reading on Kyrin’s trip to Canada, I got thinking hey why isn’t there a map saying where everybody lives because I don’t know if there’s another member almost next door! So I went and made a guest map! Here’s what you do:

zoom in a few times and double click the city where you live (or zoom in REALLY close and pick out your house), a pop up bubble will come up to make your mark:
    Name: Post your forum name
Message: give how many windstones you currently have in brackets ( )

-click on other people to see their name and stats!

~If an admin would like to make this a sticky to stay on top for more members to participate it would be greatly appreciated!~

Wow Nuke! That is so super awesome! Your grand unicorn is beautiful πŸ™‚ If Melody ever wants to rehome him, I’m sure he’d have no problem finding a new home πŸ˜‰ I mean, I’ve got a spot on my shelf! hehe πŸ˜‰ Thanks so much for posting pictures!

It wouldn’t be possible because he is a reject cast specifically for painters to practice on (he had pin size bubble holes all over him) but I’m sure you can squeak enough to Melody to paint something of a raffle prize or Ebay in that color πŸ˜‰

Augh! I have so many other PYO’s to finish first, but I have such an awesome idea for one. I can wait for a month lol. I don’t know what would feel more guilty: not getting one or having it sit on the shelf being neglected while it waits!

You can always get back to one you’ve started. There is no law that says you can’t start something new if you already have a project started. I do it all the time πŸ˜€ .

Lol, I’d like to do that too, but when I go back to working on a previous piece I forget the color stage planning in my head visually and paint colors might get mixed up. I discipline myself with only one palette to work on so I don’t have 5 pieces left unfinished. Kind of like motivation to get ’em done y’know; I’m notorious for not finishing if I distract myself with a new piece XD

Just out of curiosity, what does constitute a good airbrush painter at Windstone? Did they mention what specifically you did or didn’t do well enough to get the job?
Not that I’m looking for a job, I’m just really curious!
Great pictures! I hope the trio of cats has a claico somewhere in there!

Well I know I don’t qualify specifically for a production painter, but they are thinking maybe I can help out in multiple areas. A production painter needs to be fast and accurate in matching markings on either side of a sculpture and making them all look the same and spraying with out loosing the detail. I was really good with the air brush, but I’m waaay too slow to be cranking out tons of sculptures complete every day. The time you are suppose to apply an antique coat to all the pieces around the table the first one should be dry enough to wipe off; the first one got too dry before I even finished spraying it completely ^^; It takes a while to get up to speed for trainees I understand, but I’m a big perfectionist and don’t care how long it takes to get it right and windstones can’t afford that time really.

Err probably not. It’s not very aesthetically pleasing and all old warriors had them at one time. If it were something like goofed eye colors then it would be.

When did all OW’s have them? You mean when they are fresh out of the mold?

    Yeah that’s right.

in reply to: OW wing question #763081

Because it’s special edition I wouldn’t worry

That’s an ‘oopsie’. Castings have ‘fill ins’ like that with nodules in tight spots (inside the tucked legs of the grand unicorn for example) where a mold must separate and get knocked out and sanded down afterwards. Looks like someone forgot to do that before it got painted!

So does the fact that you were painting a grand unicorn hint at a future color? Or was he just a fun test piece? I think he looks great! Thanks for posting the pics! πŸ˜€

*shrug* It was just a test piece, but Melody said it was really pretty so she might incorporate the idea for her own test paints later.
