The ones on the hindquarters are actually blue. I did all the stripes in black, then laid interference paint over the top for the effect. I am glad you guys like him!

She’s really pretty Travestie, & I am not a fan of pink, but it is really pretty. That really came out nice.

All of them single boxed in a bigger box will work, I’ve sent WS to Sapphire this way & they arrived safe, considering that was a lot farther than you are going, (Idaho to Scotland) I am pretty confidant they will survive the trip. 🙂 Hope that helps.

Any of you into scrapbooking? If you are, you guys could build a scrapbook specially for him, make the outside & first pages this year, putting things in that remind you of him, everyone in the family can contribute. Then each year on the anniversary of his passing, everyone get together & put in a new page, with things that reminded them of him during that year & so on. That’s an idea. Or just get together, eat yummy food he loved too & tell stories about him, the good the bad, the sad. Just remember.

Whatever you do, the important thing is that he isn’t forgotten, so no matter what it will be right. So sorry to hear of your loss, it has been a rough time for a lot of folks this year when it comes to losing parents. I just lost my father in law less than a month ago.

I can so relate sweetie! I just quit my job after 5.5 years of being there, but it was the best decision for me. I am glad you made the leap, your PYO’s are absolutely breathtaking, I love them all, wish I could afford to commission you.

Sorry to hear about your Grandmother, it is never easy. Losing my ex father in law was the final straw at my old job, one of the contributing factors to my decision to leave. Since he was no longer technically immediate family, they would not allow me time off to pay my respects. I swear, companies need to be more humane than that. Just so tired of that attitude, that we don’t matter.

Anyway, welcome to some well deserved time off while you reroute your direction. The future is bright, we’re gonna be needing shades!

Sadly there is no “over the counter” paint for ruby or red fire. Nothing I have found matches it, the only reason this is matched is because Melody sent me the paint. If you would like to restore your Ruby, I can do that for you, but I’m afraid there isn’t anything out there you can get that matches it, I’ve tried. And upon seeing the paint in person, I now know why, it is almost like a clear red syrup in consistency, never seen anything like it.

in reply to: Question about foo puppies #882652

Well there you have it Melody, 22 replies, average response is 2 foo puppies, so you have 44 foo puppies wanted, add in mine & that brings it up to 46, so it looks like you need 50 foo puppies asap. LOL!

If you add them all up, likely it is closer to 75, but 50 is a good place to start. These are gonna be fun!

Congrats, I know how you feel though, had that same thing when I got done with mine. But it is a relief not to be stressing & worrying over it anymore, so once that kicks in you’re gonna feel great.
