I know I said I was quitting for a while, but I could possibly consider fixing him, I have only two things in my cue to finish dealing with, then I could probably get to him. I highly recommend NOT attempting to glue him yourself if you plan to have someone else do the repairs though.
I have had some repairs be a lot more complicated because someone glued the piece & didn’t line up properly, makes it much harder to fix.
Let me know. I could probably get to him by December.

I agree with Kiya, I once asked for certification of repairs, but at the time Melody & I couldn’t come up with a workable solution, I think we should look into Kiya’s suggestions. As a long time repairer of items, I agree that sometimes a piece might not be worth the time & effort to repair it, but for those of us who collect these, it is.
I know I have been away for a while. I don’t plan on taking on repairs again anytime soon, as I am just now getting to the point where I can start repairing a collection of pieces I have had for 3 years now that I want to fix up for myself. However, I would like to see a way for those of us to do repair things to be able to keep the value of the pieces for the collector who had the piece restored.
Also, being able to repaint one & have it backed up by Windstone would be awesome, there is a lot of talent out there.
Kyrin
I do, but then most of my repairs are usually in the major repair category & if you look really hard you can tell it was once broken.
I want some for me, I lost my mare Cricket 11 years ago, I still have her tail hair somewhere. If you could get me the contact info, I’d appreciate it.

Thanks for letting me know, Pam. But the chances of me getting the next one is slim and none. This is the 3rd auction I have attempted to win in the last week, but the one I was most anxious to actually win. I give up.

If whoever won him would ever sell him or perhaps trade for something, PLEASE let me know.
Otherwise, Congrats! He is beautiful!I was there for the end, someone sniped him from me at 8 secs. I was very disappointed, since my family had all contributed to help me get him for my birthday.

Kyrin That is legit! We’ve bee selling to the “What On Earth” and “Gaelsong” catalogs for years. It seems to be their policy to not state in the catalog ads the maker of the stuff they sell.
That’s great! So good that it is all on the up and up!
Kyrin
Okay, sounds good. We got the catalog today and saw this and alarms went off. So we figured we would ask about it.
