that unicorn is wonderful looking. it so reminds me of the horses from the wizard of oz now. 😀
Thanks. You always say such nice things.
I guess she’s too odd colored though, looks like she’ll be heading to eBay.

I’d be happy to fix him.
I only charge shipping w/insurance both ways and a small repair fee, for something like this, it’d be around $10.
I’m in Idaho though, not sure if he would want to send the dragon that far.
Let me know, left you a message RE this in the other post you posted.
Kyrin
TC…I have a suggestion on your Emperor, before you sell him, would you give me the opportunity to try repairing him first?
Damn, I just realized you are in Canada..the cost of sending him to me to be fixed would be prohibitive. Damn.
I’ll PM ya an offer.
Kyrin
Really cool!
Both look really great, but the paint is really awesome.

What I would like to know is, how the heck do you hold the darn stones while you are trying to glue the suckers on?

KoishiiKitty wrote:that reminds me. I ran into some one today at the mall that collects windstones. they have a rainbow male that needs some paint touch up. is wippet around or is there some one in the northern CA area that does good touch ups?
i have never tried windstone repair work so i refered him to look here.I’m not in Calif, but I could probably fix it.
Especially if it is just paint touch up.
All I ask is for shipping to be covered both ways, and a little $ for the time, for something this small, $10 would be enough.
I don’t really want to charge alot for repair, since I really like fixing things like this. So you can let him know and he can take me up on it or not.

Hippie Birdie!
Hope you had a great day!

Well if it helps any, the run down tired feeling will go away soon. Around your 16th week or so you should start feeling a bit more energy.
I hope that your hubby’s doctors aren’t all doom and gloom, and that they will have some good things to go along with the bad.
Most important, I hope that your well baby visit goes well, and that despite all the stress you’ve been under, everything on that front is fine. You seem like you are pretty healthy, so I don’t see why not. I look forward to figuring out how to orchestrate a virtual online baby shower in a few months.
I figure we all mail you something, and then you have to wait until an appointed time for us to all be there for you to open each, or perhaps just have you post what you got as each one comes in, that second option might be easier.
Meanwhile, rest as much as you can tonight, and take a nap as soon as you get home from all your running around tomorrow.
*hugs*

For me, because I already got one and a hatcher coming, and I paid less.
Yay, fix it projects…and yes I will take before and afters.
I am also going to be fixing Kujacker’s gargoyle, that one is going to be tough, but it’ll be rewarding just the same.
Unfortunately, while I’ll be able to show you the repairs on the two coming dragons, their final paint job won’t be shown, since repaints seem to be causing so many issues lately.

Wow, she’s really pretty and I love the butterfly!

Here’s an outdoor in the sun pic.
I’m giving you guys first go at her, if I don’t have any offers by Wed. 7Pm MT. She will go to eBay.
Thanks.
I suppose with all the other unicorns being offered and already commissioned, etc. You guys all ran out of money for “Cloud” here. So she’ll be heading to eBay tomorrow.
:):)
There were a couple of interested folks, so I thought I would let them know that “Cloud” is still available. Just in case circumstances have changed and either of you can take her, if not, she’ll head to eBay.

Adaneth wrote:I like her, even if I can’t help thinking ‘smurf horse.’ 😉 The dapples came out wonderful! 😀
She is not “smurfy”…not not not!
Besides she looks better than that in person. Thanks on the dapples, it doesn’t usually take me a week to paint something, but I think all the time taken paid off.
I plan to take some in the sun pics today.

gryphondreamer wrote:the dapple right now reminds me of a mlp. but, it sounds like it will turn out cool with your plans. what color eyes does it have?
What is a MLP? I keep seeing that, but I haven’t a clue what it means.
Kyrin
That’s really well done. I hope the person who is getting is attending MFM, so I can see it in person.
Kyrin
Dappling completed, shading on legs and muzzle done. Mane repainted white so the pearl champagne will go on even.
Complete, jewelery painted, antiqued, and masking fluid removed from eyes and base of horn.
Pics kinda don’t show her as well as I’d like, but since it raining today, I’ll have to wait a few days for some better outdoor pics in natural light.
I am really pleased with how she came out. The eyes are green, but they appear more yellowish, especially since her base color is blue.
Let me know what you guys think. Also, I’d like to know if this WIP series helped any with painting dappling with a brush.
Also, there are several levels of dappling in horses, anywhere from really faint spots only along the flanks and sides, to all over really faint, to heavy like I did with this girl, and anywhere in between the three. No two dapples are the same, and each one is very unique.
Thanks for the comments thus far.
Should I offer her up in our Flea Market, or put her up on Ebay once I’ve got her sealed and new pics taken?
Opinions?
