I just finished this up for a customer, and I love it! It turned out so very well!

It’s going in the mail to the new owner tomorrow, and for once I’m nearly sorry to see it go… It actually more or less fits me. (I’m wider in the hips, and a tiny bit shorter is all.) I could keep it and wear it, it’s awesome! But ah well, the bills need paying, so off it goes…

June 9, 2007 at 6:18 am #587822I love it, too!! And he’s got a mullet! Awesome suit!
June 9, 2007 at 8:12 am #587823He he he. Thanks everybody!
P.S. The mullet wasn’t my idea! Neither was the eye star. I just work here, I make what they pay me to make.
June 9, 2007 at 8:19 am #587824I didnt see the eye star, but the odd colored eyes are neat 🙂 I had not seen you post one of these in a while. I just wanna hug it!

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.

June 10, 2007 at 8:56 pm #587828That is fabulous! ..but don’t people simply ROAST in those suits? The fur is so long!
WHOA! Do the eyes move??June 10, 2007 at 9:50 pm #587829The eye movement is an optical illusion, very similar to the way Windstone dragons always seem to be looking at you. *grins* Slightly different mechanism for how I make it work, but same basic idea.
And yes, you roast in it! Any discussion group of fursuits/mascots is bound to have an area where people talk about combating dehydration and overheating, as they are serious problems when wearing such a thing. I was starting to sweat just having that on to take photos of, and my suits are designed to be cooler than some out there! Many people who wear such outfits long term will wear a cooling vest under them, and some have fans installed in the head to keep some airflow going.

I’ve been working on this one off and on for the last two months or so. It’s about three weeks worth of work, I’d say, but I tend to switch off from one project to another, just to keep from getting bored.
June 10, 2007 at 11:55 pm #587831That’s really well done. I hope the person who is getting is attending MFM, so I can see it in person.
