I will agree that the cat is sick, but I wouldn’t go quite so far without seeing the cat, Kyrin.
There could be any number of things wrong, and even if he happens to be blocked, I’ve seen cats who were blocked for a couple of days pull through with fluids, meds and TLC.
Let’s not be alarmist, but yes, kitty needs to see a vet today, at the very least.
I worked for a vet for 2.5 years, in that time I had two male cats brought in with the symptoms described, they died in my arms while we were trying to save them.
I am not just shooting out my butt here, UTI blockages are life threatening and if you wait until the cat is toxic, your chances hit rock bottom quick.
Way I see it, alarmist is definately in Tristin’s best interest…if I am wrong and I pray I am, then it won’t hurt anything, but if I am right, then the sooner he gets care the better his chances, and I really feel that waiting will be detrimental.

I am thinking due to symptoms, it may already be too late. Once a cat gets to the vomiting and not eating or drinking stage they are really sick. It sounds to me like he may be toxic, which means toxins are built up in his blood.
Can you determine if he has been urinating? You can check by feeling his abdomen for his bladder, put your hand on his belly right between his back legs and sort of pinch with your hand, with his tummy between your fingers and thumb. If you feel a hard ball about the size of a golf ball, kitty is blocked and needs the vet asap.
I will mention though, that if he is blocked, that this delay may have already compromised his chances.
I don’t mean to be a doomsayer, but Tristan is in serious jeapardy, “another day” may be his last…you guys have to get him to the vet NOW, not when BF gets home, but right this minute.
I hope I am wrong and that you can get him medical help in time. Keep us posted, but get him boxed up and to the vet right now.

You did a good job re-sculpting!Yeah, but considering he was broken, his value was already destroyed, and honestly, I never cared much for the emeralds…if he had been a brown or black gold, I would have restored to original.
Kyrin
This is what he looks like now, repaired and details restored.
I’ll be painting him later today.
I don’t plan to restore him to his original color, since he was broken, I figure custom color for him would be better. Colors are chosen though, yellows, oranges and red, with gold, copper and bronzes.
Base colors on this repaint. The red is actually a dark orange, but the camera kinda goofed it. Eyes are masked, as is his jewels. Both are red, so when he is done, the colors should look really good.
Comments welcome.

That is one beautiful paint job, so lovely, she looks alive…and the details, oh man I wish I could have her!

I have a suggestion, how about Gift certificates? So family could get us gift certs, and when we have enough, we get what we want.
That would only take computer space and programing.
We could also use the gift certs like a layaway plan, but giving ourselves gift certs when we have spare change. 🙂 So that could be one way to do it.
And oh, if you guys like this idea and can do it, I will gladly take a brown OW as a reward for being oh so clever! LOL!

Dracomancer wrote:lol about the horse named cheval..she is a brat..the most skittish lilt hing i have ever met..took me an hour to get a halter on her today so i could groom her
My first mare Cricket was really hard to catch when I got her. Had to hide the halter and sneak up on her. After a few weeks when she learned that I wasn’t going to grab her, slap a saddle on her immediately and gallop her off down the trail, she came to me willingly.
Previous owner was a prat. My routine involved brushing and petting, then saddling, then a nice walk, trot, lope, back to trot and walk over about a 2 mile trail.
In less than 3 weeks she would whiney at me and meet me at the gate, put her own head into the halter and we’d go out. It really warmed my heart to see her go from an untrusting abused horse to the wonderful loving companion and friend she became. I still miss her so much. 😥

Ahh…okay, I hope surgery helps, back surgery is so tricky.
Kyrin
Perhaps this is a dumb question, but since I have no back history, what is wrong with Tami, and why does she need surgery?

I can’t believe it, I am still high bidder…while I would love to get him, realistically, if I do win, I am in so much hot water!
Course, we still have 5 days left, don’t make me beg you guys to outbid me…I really didn’t expect to go even an hour as high bidder, much less over 24 hours…
That’ll teach me to want to hold the high spot…I have faith in your guys though…BTW…my max bid is $800.
Sheepish, me? Nah….Baaa Baaa!

That is so cool, i’d love a job where a free horse was part of the deal.
I know all about Premarins, my dear friends Cheryl and Jennifer run the Animali Farm in Santa Maria, Ca. They have rescued over 1000 horses in the last 5 or 6 years.
Someday I hope to get a mare or two from them, but then again, I am not sure if I really have the time to be training new horses, might be easier to just get some already trained. But I sure would love one of theirs.

Happy birthday!

Larger pieces! Larger pieces! Oh please, please, please!
*squeak*
Mainly cause I want some to install into my new curio cabinets, I have spaces available…and that is even with the hatchling royalty coming tomorrow!
Kyrin
He’s currently mine! For the next few hours or minutes, anyway! *grin*
Wish I really could win him, but I know he’ll go sky high before all is said and done.
But it is fun to pretend for a little while though.
