last saturday we went off to Sandvík (sand- bay) and my bf tougt me how to ride, and I had a blast, the feeling of freedom, the speed, the wind on my face, I felt like I was doing 50 mph in the sand….

then I went off and our friend got on, and drove off, on like 2 mph, and I thought like “this is strange”
and I said: Sverrir (my bf)?
he replied: yes
Me: did I go so slow??
he: I think he’s moving faster……

so I think I’ll be careful 😆

Living in Iceland has it’s upsides, you will not get bored of having the same weather for too long 🙂 today when I woke up at 07:00 we had a hailstorm (OK not storm but hail), then the weather turned good, sunny but windy and around ten there was rain, and alot of it, around noon it was cloudy but very windy and at 17:00 the weather was good enough to go out with only a sweater on

we have variety in weather 😉

my man bought an offroad/road bike 2 months ago, a very old Suzuki dakar (model ’86 I think), made it look good and sold it with a little profit, and now he bought an ATV, a chineze one, cheap (concidering the Labeled ones) Sumoto, model ’06, hardly ever driven and AWESOME, I got to try it and now its MINEMINEMINE 😈 I think this summer will be a blast 😀

being very absent minded doesn’t fit well with anything, most likely explaination is that I must have locked my knee while I was turning and pop, something clicked really loudly and I fell to the floor, but lying and whining isn’t the Icelandic way, I heaved myself up on a chair and finished my workload, jumped on one leg to the changing room and took my clothes in a bag, stumbled down the stairs (at work) and to my car, drove for 50 mins, talked to an insurance broker, and went to a childrens birthday party, then I decided that I couldn’t take it anymore and went, doc was baffled

can’t type much, details tomorrow, twisted my knee while putting things in sink, PAIN, painkillers and grandfathers cane this weekend

oooohh the only thing that gets me is the smell of old dentures that haven’t been cleaned, for years :puke: (I had to reline some once, and the smell when I opened up the mold after it had soaked in boiling water, that smell was from hell) 👿
