That mother coiled is really gorgeous, I hope I can obtain one of those! Thanks again for the pics guys!
Windstonecollector that is a fantastic bit of painting you did there. I am amazed how much it really reminds me of Anubis. GriffinLover is very lucky to get that one! π
Just wanted to applaud you on the fine job!

A great big welcome and…..you’ll be surprised to find that there are a lot of 30 somethings here and a lot of very much over 30 somethings. We’re all big kids at heart and we are all here to support your Windstone addicition and to comfort you when you have to go through withdrawals for a time when you’ve run out of money and your credit cards have been maxed! π
Ha ha! I’m glad to know that then! I am certainly a huge kid at heart….it shows physically too…people think I’m in my early 20s usually!
Thanks all! *big hugs all around*
Oh he’s beautiful Jasmine, just stunning! Thanks for the great pic! *_*
August 14, 2009 at 9:51 pm in reply to: Two Micheal Whelan dragon blades HAND SIGNED *SOLD!!* #780047EDIT: My last attempt before I give up and put these on ebay.
I’d like to collect the black golds so I would like to trade both blades for either a black/gold fledgie, b/g coiled mother, or b/g curled.Any takers?
Okay last but not least I’m offering up for trade two dragon blades (switchblades?) that are not sharp of course, they are for display only. They come in their felt cases. They are both hand-signed by Michael Whelan himself when I went to see him in Woodbridge Mall at the Franklin Mint. This was in ’03.
I’m looking to trade for ONE male dragon, mother dragon, or lap dragon, any color.
I’d also take a spectral. Any color of either of the two poses.
Here are some pics of these beauties. I really love them but I would just love another Windstone more…. πPurple one and gold:

back and signatureThese pictures really do not do these blades justice. They are beautiful and shiny and far more spectacular in person! π
Please respond here or PM me if interested!August 14, 2009 at 9:19 pm in reply to: Michael Whelan Big Dragon HAND SIGNED EDIT: moved to ebay #780044EDIT: Moved to eBay.
Mods you can delete this thread if you wish.Okay in ’03 Michael Whelan himself was at the Franklin Mint Store in Woodbridge, NJ (my dad used to work there for about a year) and people came to have him sign things.
This was one of three things I had signed by Micheal Whelan. I am looking to trade this fella for a Windstone. I’m looking for any male dragons, mother dragons, or a lap dragon. I will also take a spectral in either pose. Just let me know what you’ve got…I only have five Windstones so my collection is small! π³
He does have two flaws, unfortunately, so I don’t know if this would be a fair trade or not but considering it’s hand-signed by the artist himself….Anyway, here are pictures including the flaws. (They are chips or breaks, whatever you call them. Unfortunately this guy is rather delicate so he got some damage during one of my moves.)
1st flaw
2nd flawIf anyone is interested in this trade, please respond or PM.
I would prefer to hand-trade locally with someone who lives in NJ (I live in Union County) but if it must be shipped, please give me advice on how to ship it to avoid further damages.
I have sold on eBay before, my name there is shadowgem if you’d like to see reviews. I’m an honest trader/seller if you have further questions on this sculpture just ask me and I’d be glad to fill you in!49ER wrote:Dragons4Life wrote:Most coveted I own (so far anyway): Jade Scratching dragon

I think it may take a wee bit more than $850 dollars for the silver SK XD XD XDLOL Well I’m really referring to the prices I saw for the 3 OOS on the online site. I believe the Rainbow was one of the $850 ones. He he!
pegasi1978 wrote:Actually Dragons4Life, the color on your two dragons is the old green, not emerald. Emerald dragons are a richer green and have red yes and jewels (except for the oddball ones that escaped with orange eyes and champange colored jewels when the color was first introduced).
Thanks for that! So this older color is simply known as “green”? I used to think it was faded until I realized the older ones are like that! LOL
Here’s a pic of the dragons and then one of the cat candle or whatever that’s called.
By the way, that rare black and white kitty is marvelous! I would be quite proud to own something like that so congrats to you! πMost coveted I own (so far anyway): Jade Scratching dragon

Oh without a doubt my Jade Scratcher. I cannot be without him! π
LOL You can imagine if dragons were real…people would never see me… XD
I would love to see pics of black/gold dragons (or the black/violet? I think there’s that too).
Anyone want to share? π Thanks in advance!
And c’mon make those pics pretty! Out in the sunlight would be nice…. *_*I just have to say all those silvers are GORGEOUS! I have got to get one of those! π
π I love looking at the collections! Some of you are very blessed with all that you have! WOW!
Anyways, here’s mine: (ps- If I’m wrong with any names/descriptions, please feel free to correct me! I want to know.)
Retired young dragon, 1988. Color is emerald?
Violet jewel! π
Hatchling, 1984!! Oldie but goodie! Color is emerald?
Unfortunately the hatchling has a chip on one of his head spike/scale thingies. (For lack of a better term…) *sigh* Anyone know how to fix these?
Holy crap! I’m like OLD. Madonna was huge when I was first crafted! LOL (And owner was six years old!!)
Baby Ki-Rin, brown/pearl? 1992. Well it IS a kind of dragon so I think this counts!
Coiled male, peacock, 1995.
Close-up of light blue jewel. That’s all! Far too small collection and I hope to remedy that! π
