One thing with the corn, it’s kind of like fiber for us. They need SOME to help with the digestive process, you just shouldn’t overdo it.
And my pet is a cat, our apartment is too small for a dog.
People who I know and trust (and am not a client of) that specialize in animal nutrition say MediCal is really good for the price, so I will go with that.

I kind of agree with the calm down thing. It is unrelated to the Ebay thing, from what I can tell, and I see no reason why it would be.
It SUCKS to have a family member diagnosed with cancer – it sucks even more when they don’t have someone to take care of them. I think Tatt was doing the good thing by moving in to help her mom. I also think she actually is trying to adopt out the dogs that have the most potential. A dog that is terrified of strangers is not all that adoptable. TRUST ME I worked at a shelter, I know!
Yes I think she should give both dogs to a breed specific rescue. They can help the dogs become adoptable, especially the bulldog they can even do background checks on adopters.
I can see why you didn’t want to explain tatt and I’m sorry that we made you do so. It seems to be a private matter and you were trying to handle it the best you could.
If you lived in Alberta I could give you a number of rescue organizations numbers to check out (many of them no kill shelters) but I would suggest going to your local humane shelter or vet and asking them, they have lists of these people usually you know.

Wow makes me glad I’m in Canada where when our insurance says it will pay, then it will pay up to a certain percentage (at least for drugs, I think for treatment it’s basically covered).
Sucks about your insurance… greedy bastards 👿 .

I feed my pet the MediCal preventative formula, which has not been on any of the previous recall lists. However, at $35/4lb bag that’s hitting the high end in price…
(but the lack of s**t is definitely worth it… I hate cleaning the kitty litter)

Skigod, necron do you know the whole story? Or are you basing this off of past things that tatt has done. Everyone makes mistakes, maybe you should ask why she was giving away the dogs before you bash her on a public forum.
Maybe she moved to a place where she legally could not own as many dogs and had to give up two to avoid charges? Or maybe she can’t afford them anymore?
Just saying you should know the whole story, not base it on prejudices.
….. I really hope this didn’t just make me two enemies here, though I have the feeling I just did, but I had to say it anyway, I don’t like seeing people get bashed for what I see as no real reason.

Healing good – gonna miss work for a week though… I’m a painter who can’t hold her paintbrush…. I can wear just band-aids now!!! 😀 (had it fully wrapped up for 2 days afterwards, at Colin’s word, I think he’s paranoid)
