I can only imagine how painful that must be for her! My mom went through (similar) with her first, but the induced was because her blood pressure shot up stupidly high – and it was too early for him to survive.
She still mourns for him, I see her cry sometimes.
So I will keep her and the father in my thoughts and prayers, okay?
Hey that’s good news with the ultrasound and the heartbeat!
Good news makes us all happy as punch it seems.
May 29, 2008 at 3:13 am in reply to: DRAGON87 PYO's – Green Cheeked Conure Phoenix, pics soon! #698563I’m partially done with the griffin!!! All he needs now is some sealant and then some antiquing. And then some topcoat, probably. He’s not that orange really, he’s more of a caramel-y color.
I am seriously crosseyed now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*wants to go to bed now*
EDIT: Picture is bigger now, forgot to remove the .th in the imageshack url. Thanks Stephanie for pointing that out!
That’s good because I’d already used it before I asked the question… 😳
Impatient people get much done poorly!
You’re like my great grandmother used to be (back in the day, when she was alive)… My dad would call her on Wednesday, tell her “Grandma, I’m coming over on Friday to mow your lawn (shovel your walk, various other things you would do for your 80 year old grandmother), you’ll be home, right?” Of course, she’d reply with “Yes, yes, I’ll be here for you to get it done, see you then.”
Of course, on Friday, dad would arrive to a mowed lawn (or shoveled walk or whatever he wanted to do). It turned out that she had done it the day before (the Thursday).
Oddly enough, going past what would normally be her limits wasn’t what actually got her in the end. Ah, well, she was always a source of frustration/amusement for our family. 🙄
😯 😯 😯
Bet she was surprised!!!!! 😆 😈
I just found something that *could* be sealer. They say it’s just an indoor outdoor paint though, so I hope it works. It’s at least clear and should make things easier (I hope).
I figured this was an opportune thread to put that in.
It is the Krylon but it’s, indoor/outdoor paint, it’s in clear satin but there was also a gloss. That works right???? I’m not going to wreck my commission with this stuff am I?
May 28, 2008 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Suprise thing….We need to pay by 5/25..details in 1st post #706059Oh thanks for the update! I hope the recipient really enjoys it 😀
She asked me to remove her neutral rating!!!!
I NEVER got an apology for the way I was treated. And she expects me to remove the rating. Fat chance. She’s still convinced that I never sent the email that never made it to her.
*sits and waits for the whole thing to blow up again*
If she get growly she gets reported this time!!! NO excuses it’s a last resort only!
And I apologized for assuming she put the mark on there, not for not posting it on the bid. I DID tell her to do so in the future. She says she didn’t see it, which if she’s 64 like she says then she might not have. But still….
I hate dealing with those elderly people that just assume that since I’m younger then them that I should automatically respect them. Not saying they ALL do that, only some, but I hate those some… and I was taught to first give some respect, and let them earn the rest. If they blow it, then they lose that little bit of respect I was giving them. Regardless of age! 👿 She seems to think that she doesn’t need to apologize to me, which makes me think that this is the case. Not that I’ve disclosed my age or anything… *sigh*
Wow, now that it doesn’t hurt to type I’m making really long posts, sheesh…
I apparently get to film the move so at least on Friday I will be occupied with that.
As for Sat and Sun, well…. Dunno look for work stuff???
I’m not going to fight about it.
And do you really think that I’m going to chew some sorry little store owner out for 20 mins on an international call????????? That would have cost more then it was worth.
And apparently she usually wipes off the marker, but due to the location and coloration of the statue, missed it. I’m willing to believe her. But I’m still not completely happy and probably won’t buy from her again. Apparently it comes off with a bit of alcohol, so when I go to get my prescription address transferred I will pick some up and hopefully it works. If it wrecks the statue.. well, then it wrecks the statue.
She was mad because she thought I gave her a neutral rating BEFORE I mailed her about the problem, which I remember sending an email but don’t remember if it said it went through. I can’t find the record of it, so I am assuming that it didn’t even send in the first place, and that I hit the wrong button, or something on my keyboard that I didn’t know was there. Ah, well, it’s settled and I really don’t care anymore.
I’m just hungry now… ate far to long ago and should have eaten at most 2 hours ago, and the person cooking messed up the food. Bleh. So in a very long time we get pizza.
Ya but she’s probably going to go for more then my rent is. And she’s getting close already… but…. WANT!
*sigh*
I’m sure I will get one of the 25, but the more I bid on the more I’m likely to win. Or at least that makes sense. By probability… you put 1 blue marble in a bad with 25 reds and you have less of a chance of picking the blue then if there were 25 blues in with those 25 reds.
I think I need food or sleep…
Sigh… Broke down, bid on Sunrise Lap #2.
I want to win but my bank account doesn’t want me to win…
🙄
Congrats Wolven!!!!
*thinks very carefully about bidding on the orange lap this time, then gives up because of empty wallet*
Jasmine wrote:So you’re all healed? Does your hand still hurt?
Well not all healed, just enough to get the stitches out. I have those… um… sticky stitches, there’s like a bit of tape? Ah, I can’t think of the name.
