Okay, here we go!
The images are quite big. That’s because the griffin is such a mighty creature.

Welcome! π
No, you can’t, because I can’t post links yet! π
Wow, you really want to keep new members, don’t you? π
Unlike just about everywhere else, I reckon some of you guys might actually recognize the origin of my alias. Supposedly a greek word for the winged unicorn, I guess it shows that I’m not entirely misplaced as a member of this community.
To get more concrete, I’m in my early 20s (I’m 20, to be exact), doing a bachelor in physics at the University of Oslo, in Norway. I’m not entirely sure it’s the right education for me, but being a not-at-all-earthy dreamer, it’s one of the few things magic enough for me to be interested in.
Okay, now this is starting to get a bit pretentious. Not that I don’t like being pretentious. Nor that it’s generally a bad thing. But it’s not really me. I’m quite the friendly and harmless guy once you get to know me. I just like introducing myself like this, partly for the sake of originality, and partly, I guess, because I’m afraid of new people. Eep. π―
Anywark, I joined this board because I won a Male Griffin via Elfwood!! Incidentally, I look at griffins as symbols of fun and excitement, and that’s a kind of spirit I find very important nowadays.
With luck, I might stay for a post or two or three. I generally despise the internet, though, so the future remains unclear.
But again, thanks for the welcome! (The first thanks was in another thread :))
Thanks for the welcomes and congratulations! I won the 2nd prize, a jet black Male Griffin. And what’s more, I picked it up at the post office today!
The griffin made it in one piece, and it’s currently staring out my window, ogling innocent passers-by, striking fear into their hearts. π―
To believe I actually won a contest! And I’m no luckier than anyone else; so don’t give up hope, people!
I just wish I remembered what my Elfwood suggestion was. π
And not to be an impatient turd, but I haven’t heard anything from the Windstone staff yet. I thought perhaps Elfwood forgot to tell you our contact information, so I decided I might just as well register and investigate on my own. 8)
