Just Dragons for me… ;D
I would like to have sculptor and painter’s notes for each piece…what inspired each, how they were decided on…ect..
I have a brochure from there I picked up once..I have been to Chattanooga several times but never managed to get there…we mostly had day trips to the Aquarium and IMAX… maybe someday I’ll get there..what’s a few hours eh ? π
My bro’s living in Nashville..maybe I can get him to stop by and find me a Christmas gift…lol
My first Windstone pieces were Hatching Dragon, Hatching Maiasaur ( one of my favorites) and Hatching Protoceratops ( that little guy gets around ) …. I really wish we could see more Dinos at some point… π
I’m actually leaning toward the Rainbow in the current colors…but 900.00 is just too much for me to drop at once..2-300.00 is far easier but even that’s only every 2-3 months..lol
Not it would work for you…but there is a type of evergreen shrub that looks really nice potted and spread to those nice edges that seem so perfect for hand holds…thing is they are pretty sharp and spikey…I’ve stuck myself several times on em’ .. π
Is that the new Garden Dragon ? The would-be Empress one ? I might need to start savin’ again if so… π and the Anthro Wolf…glad to see it’s still on the table..bet it will be a great seller !

Is the big one really 2 feet across ? I might have to bump it up my ” to get ” list then.. π
I have spare aquariums ranging from 55-150 gallons …the 150 has held around 1500lbs before when it had water and rock in it…so it should hold a 35lb dragon given proper support… π
February 15, 2009 at 4:40 am in reply to: Dragons in the Snow…They are Here Thanks to Jennifer #751898I wouldn’t put them out premenantly around here…maybe to take pics but that’s it…too many kids that break and steal stuff … :/
Besides they would prob just as happy around my indoor tropicals…or you know what ? I have a spare glass aquarium I used for one of my reptiles years ago a little cleaning and it would look like a pet dragon lizard in a tank along side my other herps, while being is a safe display case…. I can just imagine people walking in wanting to know what kind of lizard it is with wings…lol π
There are some small dog breeds that will hunt down and kill mice and rats…I would assume they need to trained though. Really if you guys can stand it I’m sure a non-venomous snake of some sort will turn up to take em’ out for you…that always been our solution to deal with wharf rats around the barns and house..some big ole’ black snake or corn snake shows up and the rodent population goes kaput..lol and if you don’t bug the snake it won’t bother you..except for the odd surpise encounter.. π
They haven’t lost enough because of it yet…I’m still outbid on 99% of the auctions I go for…. π
Another early B-Day eh ? π
Happy Birthday to ya both !
I have to have a fan even in winter…I can’t sleep at all without a breeze.. π
It’s winter here as well but last week we saw a big black snake on the road..figured the rain and water from melting snow drove it out…I don’t know how old your building site is, but if there was a snake hibernating in or around the building, cranking up the heat will bring it out after those mice.. π
Non-venomous species aren’t that bad..they don’t usually knock things over or break stuff from crawling around..so better than a cat actually..lol
So the gypsum was mixed wrong at the place it came from…it didn’t go bad it was just a bad batch… makes sense now.

I do like beach environs…but too much and seek shade..too much is bad for the scales.. π
