how so? im confused.
There were two other sellers that listed Male Pearl dragons:
One was listed at $200 and the other was listed as a “Secret Keeper” at $700.I sadly can’t afford curios or cabinets (plus I have no room in my room). They’re all out on my huge desk and hutch. They get dusted every week when I’m bored. π
I plan to turn my empty closet into a display room though, once I figure out where to move all their boxes.
I laughed.

I had a friend get it and he wouldn’t let me pay him back…
But there’s a Gamestop in the mall I work at and they have display boxes out with prices. Whether or not they actually have them in stock is a different story since I never really asked.
Ohhh, a green mama with orange eyes~ *heart*
I have a white (pearly gold, really) mama, though I’m resculpting a chunk back into her tail and a few chips here and there. also cleaning out between her scales since she survived a flood..her poor felt pad is all stained and splotched, but smells like pledge!I don’t remember seeing this mentioned anywhere…but
I think it took me forever to notice that both my sitting and crouching chicks have different gold necklaces. The sitter has the gold leafing(looks to be) while the Croucher has the deco pen type. Was there a reason for it?
And my Croucher only has three toes on his right back paw! Sculpting or painting mistake? o.O (I can provide pictures..)
Anyone else notice these?
While not a sculptural fake, it’s art theft!
Though, trying to read the signature of the artist from the crappy image will be a task, I guess it would still be best to get this image theif off eBay.
John’s email escapes my exhausted brain… any helpers?

That was the theory behind the wax filled one. Water wouldn’t work because it is lighter than the liquid gypsum, and would just be pushed up out of the inner mold. Wax would be rigid, then get melted somehow, and poured out after the piece sets.
What else could fill an inner mold and be poured out… Ball bearings? Sand? those are too heavy…hmmmI don’t know why, but I think back to high school art class days where we hollowed out thick sculptures.
Thinking about the SK, have you tried making a plaster cast and hollowing out up to at least her chest? Judging from the size comparison to the emperor, I’m sure you could get up to a 1″ – 1.5″ wall thickness. Make a seperate, flexible inner mold for it and fill it with plaster and inset a slightly curved (but strong and small) metal bar/wire work into the block with support bars/wires that set on the outer plaster mother mold, but not low enough to disturb the gypsum that is poured in.
If you can picture what I’m imagining, it seems like something that might work. It would cut out some pounds on her.
Goodluck! I’ve had my fingers crossed to get one later too…
And btw, did you get permission from Tina Leyk (BlackJaxxFox) to use her artwork for your avatar? D: *knows her personally*
I like both, but the new is more eye-catching to me. :O

To get one over here ide have to pay Β£150 so what $300 π― $160 sounds good lol. But the shop sold the last one and i guess he will only be getting them in in Black Gold and Em pea now.Okay, he was $159.95, but at my cost it would be like $145. π He’s nice and bright, I didn’t see any chips and they have the original box.
Sorry emerald, The only thing retired they have is the Scratcher. Most of everything else are BG, EmPea, some Ruby and Gold. Then there’s a few of the gargoyles, candle lamps, and scones.
If there’s anything specific anyone is looking for, I can get a full list of what they have in and post it here.
