Okay, that is 14 out of 31 accounted for, where the heck are the other 17?
Time is ticking, there are only 3 weeks left folks, better get to painting!
Darn procrastinators! 😆 😆 😆

June 6, 2007 at 3:15 am #567243Sorry, I’m a perfectionist, and I won’t send mine out until I’m satisfied with it. It is coming out very nicely though, after a lot of initial frustration, and now I want to keep it. I just hope that my swap partner likes it!
June 6, 2007 at 3:21 am #567244I’m painting mine. Just had to strip the paint though because I was trying something different and the paint was being uncooperative in the humidity *blech*. My dad’s paint stripper worked like a charm, though it did make the gypsum a light tan color. The glue holding the eyes also degraded from that and the water (at least 15 minutes under running water with a toothbrush) to get the paint off. Eyeless PYO! 😯 Looks so weird! No matter. It should be done by the end of the weekend to get shipped out on Monday 😉
Note: I’ll post a pic without the eyes when the pyo is received, just so you all can see what I’m talking about!
June 6, 2007 at 3:44 am #567245Ooh, SPark, nice kirin! Wolflodge, you’re a lucky owner. 😀

It’s actually not too hard to do either, just kind of time consuming. Lots of layers of different shades of red and orange and yellow.

I echo that sentiment…
Life really bites at the moment… and BELIEVE me… it’s been so bad that I’ve contemplated quitting work and painting full time…
Then reality sits in and I remember what kind of money situation I’m in…
With any luck this weekend will FINALLY be productive for my PYO swap. 😀 I am trying! 😀
June 7, 2007 at 4:10 pm #567251I admit, I am a procrastinator. There that was step one. What was the second step?

If you are in the swap and haven’t painted your swap piece yet, then no painting unicorns! *stern look*
Swap piece first, then as a reward, you can paint the uni.
*teasing grin*
