Which SK are you talking about? I was talking about the Wine Berry one. I was just stating that I was the third highest on this one, and that I didn’t know who the second highest one was. It was pretty intese during the last minute. I don’t have any plans on bidding on the silver one.
I meant the Silver one and apparently Frozen is in the number 2 spot.

I find it very hard to believe that one person has over $4000 to invest in two SKs in the same weekend. 😯 I too expect both the Wine Berry and the Silver SK auctions to be pulled unless someone else outbids this person on the silver one. Windstone is closed until Wednesday, so we won’t hear anything from them until then. 😕
I’m not made of money right now but some are. I was shocked when I lost the first 23KT hatching Empress but someone wanted her and out bid me by $25. I KNOW if I had the money I would LOVE to have a SK in EVERY color that comes out

I also think 4K is a lot to spend in a weekend, but Rumsey.2007 spent at least that on the stuff they bought a few months ago. And they just bought that Lap for way high! Sooo, we never really know….until ebay pulls it.
some people like the guy I was behind in Circuit City last night was doing some sort of credit applicationa and said he made over $100,000 a year. I’m not sure I would want his job though with the stress that would go with it and if they are new to Windatone. like we all where at one time, we all know that kid in the candy store feelilng. I had it when I joined here. I spent like $8,000 – $9,000 the winter of 2004 or 2005 since I had the money.

DM, if you mean about the blocking of the bidder ID to other bidders… then yes, there are cases where they can be blocked for those low amounts. That is when the seller chooses to do a private auction, where bidders IDs are kept private throughout the entire auction… no matter what the amount. Regular auctions keep the bidder’s IDs visible until the bid hits $200.00.

It is very odd that they are bidding on, and have won such a high ticket item as a SK… and haven’t won anything else since November of… 2003? Am I seeing that correctly? That’s a long time to go since last winning something. This definitely seems a tad strange.
They could be legit though. Maybe they just discovered Windstones, and are going through that kid in a candy store stage. Maybe they just have a lot of money they can throw around right now too. Who knows! But, time will tell if they are for real or not. I hope they are, and Winstone gets the money they deserve for both SKs in the end.
